A fifth venue has pulled the plug on Bill Cosby, but this time the honchos at the concert hall made it clear ... they were worried about a boycott if the show went on.
Broadway Center in Tacoma, Washington just pulled out of the April 18, 2015 Cosby show, saying they took into consideration "the financial harm we will suffer by cancelling, and even greater financial risk of moving forward with the performance." They don't specify the risk, but it seems they mean boycott.
The execs at Broadway Center say they are a non-profit "that works diligently to strengthen our community's social fabric by building empathy, furthering education, and sharing joy. Ultimately we were not confident in our ability to meet those objectives by proceeding with Mr. Cosby's performance."
