Rosie O'Donnell Man Charged in Daughter's Disappearance
The man found with Rosie O'Donnell's 17-year-old daughter could end up doing some serious jail time, he was just charged in connection to her disappearance.
Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph Coronato says his office was given permission by Rosie to check her daughter's cellphone. He says that on the phone there was "evidence of inappropriate communications over the last several weeks between Sheerer and the minor."
Sheerer was arrested at his home last night and charged with 3rd degree endangering the welfare of a child and 3rd degree distribution of obscenity to a minor. His computer was also seized.
O'Donnell's daughter Chelsea was found with Sheerer on Wednesday at his home in Barnegat, NJ.
Sheerer is currently being held on a $40,000 bail and if found guilty, each charge carries the possibility of a 5 year prison sentence.
