'Saved By The Bell' -- Mr. Belding Graduates!!

Mr. Belding is officially a college graduate ... sporting a cap and gown at his Tennessee alma mater.

Belding, whose real name is Dennis Haskins, attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's graduation ceremony with hundreds of other students Saturday morning.

Haskins attended the school before the whole acting thing but was just short on credits before he left.

We spoke with the "Saved By The Bell" star a few days ago at LAX and he told us he completed the necessary credits for a theater and speech degree ... pretty cool accomplishment for 65 years old.

Screech would be proud.
