Cindy Crawford: I'm Kinda Flakey On Retirement

It's a good thing Cindy Crawford looks hot in sandals (and everything else) -- cause the chick is flip flopping big time on quitting the modeling game.

Cindy says she tells her kids every year that she's retiring and it's become a "running joke in our family" -- but adds, she's "not making any final statements."

As we told you ... Cindy declared she would not have her pic taken as a model anymore after her 50th birthday (later this month) while talking to United Airlines' Rhapsody magazine.

Sounds pretty final, but we're guessing her phone's been ringing off the hook since that came out -- in her IG post she says, "never say never."

Cher couldn't have said it better.
