Trump 'Frustrated' With Pam Bondi, Talked Firing A.G.
Pam Bondi Trump 'Frustrated,' Debating Axing A.G.
Pam Bondi could be on the outs as Donald Trump's attorney general ... a new report reveals.
According to the New York Times, four people "familiar with the conversations" say Trump has "discussed" sacking Pam because he's "frustrated with her leadership."
NYT's sources -- who "spoke on the condition of anonymity" -- say Trump has toyed with the idea of replacing Bondi with Environmental Protection Agency administrator Lee Zeldin ... if she does get the boot.
But they told the paper DT "has not made a final decision."
And in a statement to NYT, Trump called Pam a "wonderful person," saying ... "She is doing a good job."
She also accompanied him to the Supreme Court on Wednesday, where he sat in for some of the oral arguments about birthright citizenship -- which is protected under the 14th Amendment.
But the outlet reports that people "who have spoken to him recently" are saying Trump has a few complaints about Pam ... including the Justice Department's "lack of aggressiveness in going after his foes," her "shortcomings as a communicator" and the way she's handling the Epstein files.
This wouldn't be the first time Trump's been dissatisfied with the AG ... back in September, he called her out by name on Truth Social for taking "no action" against his opponents -- specifically former F.B.I. director James B. Comey, California senator Adam Schiff, and New York attorney general Letitia James.
In the lengthy post -- which was reportedly meant to be a DM -- Trump said ... "They’re all guilty as hell, but nothing is going to be done."
He added ... "We can't delay any longer, it's killing our reputation and credibility. They impeached me twice, and indicted me (5 times!), OVER NOTHING. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, NOW!!!"
