Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese may not be the best of friends, but their careers will forever be tied to each other's ... so says Jemele Hill, who sees early comparisons to Magic Johnson and Larry Bird!!

The Atlantic reporter joined Harvey and Charles on "TMZ Live" on Tuesday to discuss the ongoing situation between CC and AR ... and she believes both stars need each other -- comparing it to the Lakers and Celtics legends' on-court battles during their respective playing days.

"Larry Bird and Magic Johnson had the most watched men's national championship game in history," Hill said. "They had a rivalry from that game and they brought all that with them to the NBA."

Jodie Turner-Smith isn't worried about dating at the moment ... literally laughing at the idea while out in NYC.

We caught up with the actress on Monday as she hit the streets of the Big Apple while promoting her upcoming Disney+ show, "The Acolyte." While looking as fabulous as ever, dressed in a vibrant minidress and heeled boots, JTS made it clear she isn't looking for love at the moment ... chuckling at the idea of linking up with someone.

Former Detroit Lions tight end Brandon Pettigrew spent part of his Sunday morning in jail ... after he punched and broke a glass door during a spat with authorities inside a Texas convenience store.

TMZ Sports has learned ... the incident happened at around 2 AM at a 7-Eleven in Dallas -- when police say Pettigrew became aggressive during an argument inside the shop.

It's unclear exactly what kicked off the tiff -- but in surveillance video, you can see after Pettigrew and several people exchanged words, the former ex-NFLer threw a right hook at the front door, causing it to break.

6/4/24 -- Josh's company, Preview Models, tells TMZ they worked with Sharaun and did everything in obtaining and using her image on the up and up -- but claims they got a letter from her in November that demanded money over what she felt was an unauthorized use of her likeness.

PM also says that any unauthorized materials pertaining to Sharaun were destroyed, and that they haven't heard a peep from her ... until now. Preview Models also tells us they haven't even been served with any papers pertaining to this suit ... but note that if/when they officially become aware of it, they'll defend themselves ... and might even countersue her if need be.

"90 Day Fiancé" star Josh Weinstein is being dragged to court by a model ... with her claiming his production company used her image to market his business, but is not paying up.

Sharaun Brown just filed a lawsuit against Josh, claiming the reality star's Preview Models production biz used her photos on its website to promote the company, propping her up as a "Celebrity Mentor" and using her to lure in aspiring models.

According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Sharaun says Preview Models started using her image around February 2023, adding her photos to ads for open casting calls, fashion shows and booking services.
