WARNING: WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE IS PROFANE AND RACIAL
Michael Richards exploded in anger as he performed at a famous L.A. comedy club last Friday, hurling racial epithets that left the crowd gasping, and TMZ has obtained exclusive video of the ugly incident.
Richards, who played the wacky Cosmo Kramer on the hit TV show "Seinfeld," appeared onstage at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood. Kyle Doss, an African-American, told TMZ he and some friends were in the cheap seats and he was playfully heckling Richards when suddenly, the comedian lost it.
The camera started rolling just as Richards began his attack, screaming at one of the men, "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f***ing fork up your ass."
Richards continued, "You can talk, you can talk, you're brave now motherf**ker. Throw his ass out. He's a nigger! He's a nigger! He's a nigger! A nigger, look, there's a nigger!"
The crowd is visibly and audibly confused and upset. Richards responds by saying, "They're going to arrest me for calling a black man a nigger."
One of the men who was the object of Richard's tirade was outraged, shouting back "That's un-f***ing called for, ain't necessary."
After the three-minute tirade, it appears the majority of the audience members got up and left in disgust.
Attempts to reach Richards' reps were unsuccessful.

Michael Richards was way out of line and is a racist. However, people seemed to stand by Mel Gibson during his anti-semitic tirade and say he was just drunk and we should forgive. Im not saying we should forgive Michael Richards but why is anti-semitism forgivable and racism not?
Heckling is one thing but racist slurs are another. You can argue that Blacks use the N-word in their comedy routines and talk about whites, but there is a difference between comedic use and slurs. If you saw the whole video (at least what is on the web), you will notice that Richards brought up "Jim Crow" type comments stating that "that's what happens when you mess with the white man" and talking about what he could do if it was 50 years ago. To me this shows some deep seated racism which a lot of folks don't realize they have or want to admit. The anger just brought it out. He could have said many other things as a comedian besides using the inflammatory N-word even if he was being heckled. That's what a GOOD comedian could do. There is no excuse and he just wants to excuse it as an anger managment issue? Let's get real and see it for what it is. If you reference the racism of 50+ years ago, there is something in you that relates to it. After seeing his apology on Letterman, I know he is sorry but he needs to understand that their is something more than anger there and I don't think he gets it or wants to admit it.
How come no one is up in arms about someone calling him a cracker? Yeah and why is it alright for blacks to make fun of whites, but when whites say things about blacks, people get all upset
The afro american comediens make worse comments then richards did.I mean they insulted richards before he made those comments wat would chris rock say to a white guy who did that.

FACTS !FACTS! front and back..people before you st out start calling someone a racist is wrong. but then isn't that always the way some folks just go by what it says and look like on the cover....i don't care what skin tone you are if you! do me or someone that i know is a good person wrong i wont like you. i will never know whats in that man heart cause i will never get to know him personal. so i will keep right on right on watching the show cause it is funny and he (kramer) is a nut..lol

The way the "N" word rolled off his lips suggests it's a common part of his vocabulary. He's just another pissed off white male who blames everyone else for his misery and lack of success. He should just fess up that he hates Blacks but doesn't understand why.

As for Richards, he said what he meant - most angry people do - he just didn't mean to 'out' himself as a biggot.
