Barbara Retracts; Sides With Rosie Over Trump

1. I thought she handled it in a really classy way. And the studio audience was really psyched that Rosie will be back next week.

4. I personally thought Barbara Walters handled the situation with dignity and class.
Good to see a few step up to the plate and confront Donald Trump. He is far from being the so called professional business man he wants everyone to think he is. He has shown his true colors in his insulting remarks, statements, and mannerism.

Take that....................The Donald (HAA) and stick it where the sun don't shine!

6. I told you guys when this hit that the Rosie was near the truth but Ol' slickster Don knows how to force an issue . The Don was protected from being bankrupt by something similar to chapter 11 . This is not being bankrupt and indeed is more perfered . First you don't have to pay on what was owed in wages , bills etc . Then each year you can extend the protections . Don't take my word for it - just google " Trump owes me " and see what comes up ! The Good old don -- one of the few guys who admits he would date his daughter . Dickhead .

8. Don't believe it for one second. Barbara is playing to Rosie and Donald. Let's see if Rosie returns from the "so called" pre-planned, spend more time with the kids vacation. Most kids are back in school this week -eh?

12. Rosie O' Donnell is an idiot & so is Baba Wawa! Yuk! Even Hearing the name of Rosie O'Donnel I feel ill. Trump's right! She is ugly on the inside as well as the outside (That's putting it mildly!) She is Obviously just jealous as Tara Conner is Beautiful & Thin, (Something of which Rosie O'Donnel will Never Be!) ha-ha! Rosie is a trouble maker and a Big Mouth. I Hate the View with a passion and will Not watch it. What's wrong with Barbara? First, Star Jones, now Rosie. Is she Really that desperate for viewers? What's her game plan? 13. What Trump said was that Barbara "cannot stand Rosie" he never said "she regretted hiring Rosie". So Barbara cleaverly offered an empty apology. Barbara Walters is an enterainer, who benefits from The Views success. Ofcourse, she doesn't regret hiring Rosie, her ranting brings in the viewers. But go back and read Trumps qoutes....Barbara did not adress his claims, in any way.

I think Barb would hire any jerk and back stab any friend if it helped her get the ratings she needs to keep this show on the air.

15. Hey #11, actually Trump said both things, that BW said she couldn't stand her and that she regretted hiring Ro. I think that BW addressed whether or not she cares for Ro by stating that she'll be welcomed back with open arms on Monday.

Trump will no doubt come back today with more misogynistic remarks, now he has two targets - plus we are in the single digit countdown of days for the new season of his ratings-poor show.
