Michael Vick to Judge:

I'm Guilty As Charged

8/20/2007 3:22 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

0820_michael_vick_bn_getty-1Michael Vick just plea bargained his dogfighting criminal case.

A federal grand jury was scheduled to hear testimony today. His co-defendants have already struck deals and turned on the NFL star.

We're told Vick has pleaded guilty to some charges. We're investigating.

According to one report, Vick will likely get a prison sentence -- we don't know the duration.

The report claims that next Monday, Vick will enter a guilty plea to charges of felony conspiracy. Vick's lawyer is quoted as saying, "Mike's accepting full responsibility. He's going to do everything he can personally and professionally to make this situation right."

UPDATE: The NFL has issued the following statement: "We are aware of Michael Vick's decision to enter a guilty plea to the federal charges against him and accept responsibility for his conduct. We totally condemn the conduct outlined in the charges, which is inconsistent with what Michael Vick previously told both our office and the Falcons. We will conclude our own review under the league's personal conduct policy as soon as possible. In the meantime, we have asked the Falcons to continue to refrain from taking action pending a decision by the commissioner."

Who Guilty...the One who hosts the Fighting, or the People who brought their Dogs to Fight? It really makes you think that America really wants to see a rich athlete go down...

I don't think Vick is really guilty. And furthermore I think Vick, like O.J. has done, should devote the rest of his life searching for the REAL dogfighting ringleader.

This is a joke! If he was a white player he would get a fine and community service. Why ruin a man's career over some dogs? There are people who abuse children, sell drugs, shoot people and they dont dont get a year in prison. Recently a man did a few days in jail for abusing a child. Where is the outrage in that case? But you want to act like Mike Vike committed the worst offense in the world. WAKE UP PEOPLE!

This really saddens me. I volunteered at a local animal shelter that "rescues" dogs from being put to sleep at animal shelters in the south that are over crowded and matches them with families up here (northeast) that are looking for a family friend. While I volunteered there I can't tell you how many dogs from the Atlanta were named after this man. Sad to think that kids probably named their loved pets after a "hero" and turns out that the man isn't even worthy of being called a dog...

I believe in karma - This "man" will get his...

Everyone who is less fortunate to be in the limelight and have all the nice things that Michael
Vick has is bound to sound negative and accuse one who is surely innocent. Jealousy raises it's ugly head. He only pled guilty to protect those around him, a very noble thing indeed. Only goes to show that people who have something in common need to stick
together in order to suppress those who are trying to suppress others. Michael is a beacon to many who aspire to become what they believe is good in them. Hang in there Michael. There are many who look up to you. Don't let the "naysayers" get you down.

Hey Smarter Than all of You:

Wake up. According to his accomplices, Vick PARTICIPATED in the KILLING OF DOGS that weren't good enough. He is a sick f**k who deserves to rot in hell. Clear his good name-HA! Have fun in prison Mikey.

How could someone be so cruel? Too bad one of the dogs didn't turn on him and give him a taste of his own medicine. It is said that serial killers usually start out hurting animals. It's as if he thinks he is above the law all because he is famous. I hope he goes away for a long time and I hope his cellmate has a "good time" with him. If there is any justice in this world, he won't be able to buy his way out of this one.

He needs a new representative...how can he 'make right' slaughtering dogs and torturing others? I'd like to make him witness the pain he caused those animals but ya know what, he already has, and it didn't matter at all.

My son was a Vick fan. He's taken down the posters (3 of them) and stopped wearing the jersey. We just decorated his entire bedroom with the Atlanta Falcon team logo. That's changing too....freakin dirt bag.

A $10mil. judgement to PETA sounds about right!!!
