Sara Evans and Hubby Call Truce

After hurling wild allegations and slinging mud every which way, Sara Evans and her estranged husband Craig Schelske have agreed to play nice -- but there is still a chill in the air.

Both parties showed up in a Nashville court to hash out some of the terms of their nasty split. When asked if he still loved Evans, Schelske replied, "Yes, I do." When Evans was asked if she shared the same feeling, the country diva said nothing.

Inside the courtroom, Sara and Craig both agreed not to air their dirty laundry in the press. They also agreed to take psychological exams, which could become a factor in the custody case -- the couple has three children.

They also agreed not to physically or verbally abuse each other. And, in a blow to Johnnie Walker, they agreed not to use "excessive" alcohol. Schelske also agreed to find a new place to live. For now, Sara will have primary custody of their kids and Craig will have visitation rights.

5. Reading in the Herald today, it talks about private jets, well If you have the money to buy the fuel then why not fly first class. Everyone has a complaint about something, no one is ever happy about anything. The american people always have something to say about nothing. If two women want to marry then why not let them and the same for men. Who says you have to live by somebodies else's rules anyway. Be yourself and never mind what someone else thinks. Be your own person. You have to live with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

6. As someone who has spent time with Sara, she is NOT someone who would make these allegations lightly. She knows what a backlash would not only mean to her children but her career. She is a solid family person.

7. Maybe David Hasselhoff and Pam should try to act like this. Civil!! Think of the children for once. Sara was hurt and spoke to soon. Now it's a big mess.

8. Being a Sara Evan's fan I am really disappointed with how she has handled this. It is too bad too that even for the childrens sake neither of them could be adults about this.

9. They both need to grow up and keep their dirty laundry to themselves. Everyone has problems. You tell you best friends not the media. You would think that celebrities would have figured that out by now. But they spread their business through the media and expect privacy. Then they cry about not having privacy and how the media invades their privacy. If they would keep their mouths shut to begin with then they wouldn't have any problems. Maybe the publis should sue the celebrities for the possession of stupidity with the intent to distribute and for having to listen to their whineing after they have already made their business public. GROW UP!

12. FINALLY, a note of sanity for the Schelske's! Sometimes, a courtroom is the best and only place to defuse all that crap and return to a semblance of order. Think of the children, first, foremost and then some..... and then remember, you two are adults.

14. Who are the people who thought they should get back together? ARE YOU ALL KIDDING! After all that mud slinging, there isn't a chance in hell they should be together. Not for themselves and especially NOT FOR THE KIDS! I don't care who was right or wrong, they should have kept it all to themselves as best as they could. It's obvious there is a lot of baggage in that marriage, it's just a shame the entire world had to know about it. And as far as her shutting up, she probably was ordered to in court, as per their lawyers agreements. His allegations were probably just damage control due to her accusations.

15. All of a sudden, Sara is a country 'diva'? WTH? Yeah, she was definitely hurt, and spoke too soon, I agree, but I think when you're caught off-guard by someone that you thought you knew, strange things happen and you do things that you wouldn't normally do - like talk to the media! I think she probably had her arm twisted in a way to do the interview with Tom Bergeron after leaving the show. Who would want to talk then? I think they made her do that -and I agree - what man isn't in some way addicted to porn!
