Realicouple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt went Christmas tree shopping yesterday in the San Fernando Valley town of Woodland Hills -- and they even make that seem rehearsed. Gag us with a jackhammer!
The pair hugged and kissed as they perused the tree selection, while "Feliz Navidad" played in the background. Cue the fake snow! (And can someone please tell Heidi it's 75 degrees in LA. No scarf necessary.)
Do they live inside a snow globe, too?

I feel dirty for having watched that. So staged and they looked so awkward together it was uncomfortable. EEWWWW!

Wow, it just cracks me up...I hope they don't ever plan becoming real actors. I don't know about everybody else, but I watch the Hills and I am actually starting to feel sorry for Heidi. Seems to me she regrets moving in with Spencer and becoming engaged to the douche, but it seems as though she feels trapped because she either dropped or was dropped by her friends to be with him, and she just has nowhere to go. That and she probably doesn't want to admit she made a huge mistake. But then again, it is a show and everything could very well be just a part of a scripted storyline. I just wish that if Spencer really is a nice and caring guy, he would show that more in front of the cameras. It just seems like he is using Heidi to be on the show and gain fame, and it seems as though he enjoys being a complete and total jackhole (jacka$$/a$$hole). You would think that if they wanted people to think that they are good and loving people, that they would act like good and loving people when the camera's are rolling for the show.

That looked completely and utterly fake. With Heidi's stepford wife smile plastered on, both side by side in every shot even when Heidi's presence wasn't necessary (walking beside tree as they were bringing it to car, standing right next to spenc as high finishes tieing the tree on the car). I really don't think they're still together - they're just trying to keep themselves in the media and they have to continue to pretend to be a couple to do that. Nasty gente!

I especially liked the Star of David that was above the cash register at the check-out area. It makes everyone feel welcome when buying a Christmas Tree.

Okay so my husband and I have a great relationship and we certainly DON'T act fake like that in public...do you really need to kiss the man as he is tieing a tree onto the car? I know they are totally fake...even when on the show they talk sarcastically to each other as if they were putting it on for the cameras and don't really mean it. Spencer is seriusly a douche and it will only get worse for Heidi.

OMG Heidi IS a stepford wife. So tragic. It's such a blatant show for publicity and fame. They probably set up the photo op before they went, because I really hope that photogs don't actually follow them around on a diaiy basis. Kind of like following Barbie and Ken- doll around.

I live in LA and regardless of the temperature the wind yesterday made it quite chilly - I wore a scarf with a sweater too!
