Jake G. Spits Up after Court

Jake Gyllenhaal was so bored after his first day of jury service yesterday, he could spit. Yes, we know it doesn't make sense, but he spit as he left the courthouse.

Jake's prospective new role: Juror in a misdemeanor battery case in downtown L.A. He's back in court at 10:30 AM. He's on a panel and has not yet been questioned by the lawyers. We were there yesterday as Jake sat all morning in the jury assembly room, squished into a corner by a really large man.

Will Jake make the cut today? A lot is riding on it. He stands to earn $15 a day and $.34 a mile.

1. Give me a BREAK TMZ! WHo cares, just because he is leaving a court house, means you cant spit? Remember its flu season who you rather him spit in the court house, please dont pay these people who are breaking these BS story lines.

4. So what! When is the last time one of these hollywood people had to serve on a jury? They always get excused. We would not want to waste their precious time now would we?

6. At least he is serving...doing his civic duty.That's more than can be said for celeb and non-celebs alike. Most people try to get out of it! I get a jury summons about everyother year...both local and federal. I sit through it, just like everyone else. And YES, it can be BUTT BORING sitting in the juror's room waiting to be called for a trial. I live for the noon breaks so you can escape for a little fresh air, and a walk about, outside!

8. 1) Yes, I think he was spitting at your camera dude
2) Watch the video as he walks away...he shakes his arm a couple of times and I would bet $10 he spit on himself - at least a little - whoops.
