Former NBA legend Norm Nixon was arrested last night on suspicion of DUI.
Nixon was pulled over by California Highway Patrol just before midnight for having no front license plate on his black Ferrari. We're told officers smelled alcohol, so they gave him a series of field sobriety tests -- which he performed "poorly."
Nixon -- best known for his stint with the Los Angeles Lakers in the 70s and 80s -- was booked and posted $5,000 bail.
Fun fact -- Norm Nixon is married to Debbie Allen of "Fame" fame.

To all of you club rats out there. If you are going to go out and get your drink on you gotta have front plates. I know it messes up the natural line of your pimped out ride but you gotta suck it up and strap it on. If you dont have front plates you may as well have a neon sign blinking "stop me!"

First of all he is still married to Debbie. and he did play for the Lakers, and he was not pull over because he was driving wreckless, it was said because of a front plate that suppose to be on all cars in CA. yeah whatever, it was because a officer seen a BLACK MAN riding in FARRI in the weed hous of the morning and he thought it was STOLEN. The real charge, he was caught DRIVING WHILE BEING BLACK. Plain and simple.
