Jake Gyllenhaal has used the strong arm of the law -- again -- to fend off the paparazzi.

Jakie G. flagged down a Santa Monica cop for the second time in two weeks, complaining the pappers were on his tail. Unclear what the motorcycle officer did, but Jake went on his not-so-merry way without further incident.

8. That's just wonderful. Distract the cop from helping people in real need with nonsense. If you can't take the pap attention, no one is forcing you to stay in the spotlight or to live in L.A.. That should be your biggest problem with people struggling to eat, pay rent, get medical care. This guy used to seem cool but increasingly seems like a big hypocritical whiner (as do most actors.)

9. WHAT KIND OF SCHMATTAS DOES THIS GUY ALWAYS WEAR? HE SHOULD ALERT THE MEDIA THAT HE WANTS TO BE TAILED BY THE PAPS ONLY WHEN HE WANTS IT. THAT "BEARD" HE CLAIMS TO LOVE (THE WITHERSPOON HAG) HAS TURNED HIM INTO A GENUINE PUBLICITY WHORE. EVEN THIS LITTLE STUNT GOT HIM IN THE PUBLIC EYE--AGAIN. I'M SURE HE ARRANGED THE WHOLE THING.

14. jake oughta hire a crew of private investigators to photogaph/harass harvey and the other privacy-invaders/threatening-stalker-types from tmz. start a site called "tmztmz.com" and post photos of them making out with their ugly girlfriends, buying porno, scans of their late credit card bills, etc.

id definitely check it out.
