Kate Walsh's accounting firm did not get the protective order it was after -- the judge felt it wasn't necessary to order estranged hubby Alex Young to stop demanding financial info.
Young has been on the firm's ass, demanding to know exactly how much he's owed for the house he and Kate purchased together. Fact is -- the house has gone down in value since they bought it in 2007.
Alex has not only made repeated demands on the firm, but today in court Kate's lawyer, disso-queen Laura Wasser, said he's been on ABC network's ass as well, demanding financial info. Wasser said ABC will be asking for a protective order against Young. Famous pit bull lawyer Marty Singer (one of Walsh's lawyer's) will also ask for a protective order this morning.
Young's lawyer, Jeff Sturman, told us, "The judge found there was no basis for a protective order ... that the accounting firm filed it's motion prematurely and without attempting to informally resolve matters. And the accounting firm was required to pay approximately $6,100 in Young's fees."
The couple was only married for 14 months before separating.

I've never ben divorced, but I don't see how it can be legal for a spouse to demand info from an employer to the point of that employer requesting a restraining order! Isn't the burden on Kate to disclose any necessary financial information? Like disclosing her tax return to him.
It's just too bad that guys in this world has stopped being men. Why can't he just man-up and let this woman get on with her life? He has money that he'll never ever spend. He'd better realize, as some people do, that it dosen't matter how much money or material things you get on this earth, when you die, there won't be ONE U-HAUL truck following behind the hearse carrying that wealth.

To be clear, Kate Walsh's lawyers lost in court today. They tried to withhold information that Alex Young had the right to know because they are joint marital assets. Laura Wasser and Kate's other attorneys were also given sanctions by the judge for their conduct in this case. Laura Wasser having a special relationship with Harvey Levin did not help her in court today and it won't help her in court next month either!!!

OMG, I am so sick of hearing about all these celebs steadily trying to jip people, suing all the time, spending millions on houses they don't need.Have you ever herd of a community more greedy than the people who earn their living in show business? I'm so sick of the pettiness that is in this industry. It amazes me how once a person gets a little fame they start actually believing they are special and the world owes them riches. Get a grip.
