Michael Jackson

Dies

6/25/2009 6:20 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

mj-dies-1We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

A source inside the hospital told us there was "absolute chaos" after Jackson arrived. People who were with the singer were screaming, "You've got to save him! You've got to save him!"

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

sick of hearing the "they die in 3s" thing...they don't. Ed Farrah and Michael huh? Have we all forgotten about David Carradine?? That makes 4....not 3. Or...2 other celebrities are going to drop dead!!!

OMG...I will always remember Michael when "Off The Wall" came out, in 1979...going to the roller rink with my girlfriends and sisters and skating to it when I was 14. My 2 sisters and I danced to "Thriller" in our living room, entertaining our mom and dad trying to imitate his moves, and we just loved his music. Part of our childhood died yesterday...that is what breaks my heart...but, death is part of life. God Bless you, Michael, and thank you for making my teenage years fun to dance to!

Michael Jackson was definitely a talent in his field. Lets just leave it at that. He's gone, passed on to the great beyond, just like everyone else. Why is the world making him out to be some sort of a martyr. He's already being put on a pedestal for his greatness outside of his musical talents. He isn't GOD, he isn't an influental political figure, he is just a musician, plain and simple. Did he have a troubled past, yes, but so do millions of other ordinary people in the world. He didn't touch anyone's soul, he didn't put money in anyone's pocket, he didn't do anything for anyone except drain these neurotic fans of their hard earned money. Just out of curiousity, if he's supposedly at 40 million dollars in debt at the time of his death, how on earth did he manage to maintain a home in hombly hills, which is supposedly a very, very wealthy community. Lets get on with our lives people, this person didn't impact anyone's life but his own. I will live quite well thank you, without the outpouring of emotion towards this story. Maybe now we can all concentrate on more "real world" issues that impact each and everyone of us, i.e. the economy, the state of the world, and such. Get over it.

why do they blame him for his fears of old age and death?Everybody is afraid of these things and only when you have faith in God you can win your human fears.Michael was a great man,but he was just a man,a human being like us and he had lots of qualities. We have no right to judge his soul, only to appreciate his wonderful music, symbol of a golden age that cannot come back again in this world...Maybe he will sing again in a better place. This world causes too suffering to sensible and harmless people, and we cannot say who is really good and WHO'S BAD....R.I.P.
