Rampage Jackson Accused of Killing a Fetus

The pregnant woman caught in the wake of "Rampage" Jackson's crazy monster truck chase last year claims the UFC star caused "the stillbirth of her baby" when he rammed into her car.

Rampage Jackson
Holli Griggs filed a lawsuit against Rampage in Orange County, California -- claiming he repeatedly rammed into her car "so he could escape and flee the scene (hit and run)." Griggs says "the impact of her abdomen with the steering wheel caused her amniotic fluid membranes (bag of waters) to rupture, ultimately resulting in the stillbirth of her baby."

rampage jacksonFYI -- Rampage was never charged in relation to the death after an investigation revealed that the miscarriage was unrelated to the accident.

Griggs filed the suit anyway, claiming Rampage owes her more than $25k for property damage, personal injury and emotional distress.

17. Of course he caused the death! Her water broke as a direct result of the accident, and baby "eventually" born dead? How long was the baby without it's protection of amniotic fluid? $25,000 is a tiny prce for what this goon did!

18. She should be suing for $25 MILLION... he KILLED her baby! If he would have done that to ME when I was pregnant, he wouldn't have to worry about a lawsuit because I would have carried out my own justice! The rage would be too much for me to control. I am VERY protective of my children.

19. I am not so sure of this...

1. there is a difference between stillborn and miscarriage..I know, I've had noth..

2. the amniotic fluid is there to cusion the baby..your bag of waters do not just "pop" if your stomach is hit by a steering wheel. a steering wheel rammed into your stomach, yes, but not bumped. That ranks right up there with not having sex because it can poke the babies head.

3.only 25k for the lost of a baby???

20. This happened to my girlfriend, but she was in her last month of pregnancy, AND she was just backing out of her parking spot when someone bumped her car from behind. She went into labor that day and lost the baby. If this could happen to my girlfriend from a bump in a public parking lot, then I'm pretty sure that it could happen if someone "rams" your car intentionally and repeatedly at a higher rate of speed. I don't see how any doctor couldn't agree with this, but it doesn't specify how long it was after the accident that the miscarriage occurred. IMO, what she's asking for isn't unreasonable; he should pay up.

21. #15 An abortion is voluntary, this woman didn't ask him to repeatedly ram her car to abort her baby or have a stillborn child. If she had wanted to abort the child, there are much easier ways to do it than this.

22. The boy from the Dirty Daude, Rampage, and Forrest Griffin should beat all of you up. MUAY THAI!

23. So why should anything happen to him even if he was responsible for the baby's death? Abortion is legal and isn't considered murder by the law so he can't be held responsible because after all it's just a bunch of cells in her belly and not a real baby or at least that's what all the pro abortion morons would have you believe.

24. I really love the double standard. The liberals are all in favor of partial birth abortion and are still whining about the Doctor (baby killer) who was shot to death. Now, this unborn child is suddenly a "stillborn baby". Will "Rampage" be charged with the death of a person? (I think he should be) I think that his lawyers should use the "not really a person yet" defense that al the pro-abortion people love to espouse.

28. If you look at the facts of Quinton Jackson first case it says, he struck the car on the freeeway - not repeatedly rammed it, then it says - a few days after the incident, a pregnant woman in the car he hit on the freeway lost her baby by miscarriage - is that the same as stillbirth at the scene of the accident ?? or is this just her attorneys way of trying to get money out of rampage, If it was in fact the cause of her loss wouldnt they be realistically claiming millions ??? i can easily see the £25k claim being for property damage and injury and distress but not loss.
