14. Who wrote this, Max? It's not BARREN, you semiliterate. Its simply free of residents or furnishings. It's a house with floors, walls, woodwork, EVERYTHING completely intact. Therefore, it's not "barren" any more than a vacation home is "barren". It's simply an empty house that is not presently in use.

Get a book on fourth grade vocabulary.
