Jackson Doc Declines to Chat with Cops

7/18/2009 10:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

We've learned Dr. Conrad Murray canceled an interview with the LAPD.

As we have already reported, the LAPD is treating Michael Jackson's death as a homicide. Detectives have their sights set on Murray, as the person who may have administered the drug Propofol, which we're told is the primary cause of Jackson's death.

We're told the LAPD planned a third interview with Dr. Murray earlier in the week -- the doctor was interviewed the day Jackson died and again two days later.

Reps from the L.A. County Coroner's office planned to attend the third interview, but we're told Dr. Murray's lawyer called and said the doctor would not be speaking to the cops at this time.

And here's the best part. Our sources say the cops called the lawyer back and they were referred to the lawyer's lawyer who said Dr. Murray's lawyer would not be speaking to them!

I also suspect the lawyer had knowledge of what killed MJ,and now they have caused thousands of dollars into an investigation that could have ended with the truth.

They were probably not going to talk with him but arrest him and his lawyer knew it. So he pulled this stunt.

Note to Self: If I am ever accused of murder. 1. Leave the State I am accused in.
2. Refuse to talk to the authorities.
3. Hire a Lawyer.
4. Make sure the first lawyer hires a Lawyer

This won't go to trial.

It's waaaaay too compicated for one thing and the sh*t storm that would surround it would simply bring out so much (more) negative news out about "Junkie Jackson".......

Sad, but true.

This is so sad and senseless. I took my son to see Harry Potter this evening and cried in the theatre while thinking how MJ loves magic and movies. My soul aches for his childrens loss as well as all of us that truly cared about him and what he stood for. Good night everyone, I am off to cry myself to sleep.

-and LA or whomever your Cybil characters are tonight, don't bother I will not be looking at another post.

Unfortunately Dr. Murray can't be charged by the LAPD until the autopsy comes out - and now that's delayed yet again - guess they want to make sure it is absolutely airtight for evidence to make the charges stick - Meanwhile Dr. Death is hiding out and on the run - somehwere -

#27, on the contrary, unless the Dr. pleaded guilty or a plea bargain it would go to trial. The state of California is required to file charges when a felony is committed on behalf of the people of California. Even if the Jackson family wanted no part of it, the state has no choice, it's required. The only way to avoid it would be if the Dr. was willing to plea to some kind of settlement, which is possible. Should be interesting to see what happens.
