I've been thinking a lot about this and I've decided to finally chime in. I'm always looking at pics of Christina Hendricks, Nigella Lawson, Sophie Dahl, Gail Simmons and other average sized women for style tips. I am, like them, not fat, but by no means skinny. If you want to have a life, enjoy yummy food and drink (but not over-indulge), exercise but not spend your life at the gym and be a generally happy person (because the thing I read most in interviews with these women is how CONTENT they are), then you're going to have to live with your curves. If you're so blessed, as these women are, and, thankfully, as I am, the waist will stay thin, the bulge will go to that camouflage-able area above the hips and the curves will go to the bosom and butt. Then you dress and pose accordingly. And if you're very noticeably happy, because you feel confident, your physical health is good, you have lots of love around you from good people and, in the case of these women, your face is quite pretty, thne who cares if you don't fit into a size 0-6. Who cares if you wear the average size 8-14? You're still really awesome. Right?
