Photogs caught Paula in NYC yesterday and she said she thought Ellen will be "great" on the show.

Back to the original problem -wasn't it that Seacrest getting I believe was 40 million for 3 years & Simon getting a ridiculous amount but it's his show, and then Paula was offered a raise to $4mil. Is Randy going to keep quiet because he's not getting $4mil or does he have a secret deal??? Between the guest stars they've paid more money. It's all publicity hoping that we'll be so outraged that we'll watch anyway. Well I will not watch, besides it's been getting boring lately. I like America's Got Talent more. It has variety, there's no age limit and the Hoff is funny & cute in a Hoff way.

If you are one of the people who wont watch A.I. because Paula isn't on anymore... what is it that you miss?
She was either drunk or stoned for many of the shows.
She tripped over her words and didn't make sense all the time.
She was so sweet that we didn't expect anything helpful from her.
She knows the music business but so do the other 3 judges...Ellen is on-board to bring some fun to the show.
If the American public is smart enough to vote for the winner (and we are not music experts) you just have to keep in mind that this is a popularity contest.. and pure entertainment. Along those lines... Ellen is a huge success. I bet Ellen is one of the top 20 women in Show Biz now (when you look at her audience and now add AI's audience).
Paula just figured out a way to move back to #200th on the list of top females in showbiz. Only a drunk, drug, or stupid person would drop a show because they were only offering $5 million a year.
