For anyone who has gotten a little bit more than partial info on the "emptying the bank account" Kate has money in a seperate account! Her lawyer told her to do it before she filed for divorce! Give me a break, she just has to spend her precious reserve of moneys to take care of her kids!!! Hmmm I also wonder if Jon had a seperate account like she did before the divorce?? When is the judge in this case gonna put a gag order on this whole damn thing? Bitch, moan, whine, groan....grow-up Jon & Kate! An stop screwing with your kids heads!!!

I loved this show from the get go , and my daughters and I watched it every week ....now I am just sickened.
Here's an idea Kate ...instead of running to NYC to air your grievances, and John instead of heading to Larry King ...why don't the two of you give America a break and settle this in private.

Sob sob, sniffle sniffle Kate - get over it you selfish control freak. Why dont you talk with your husband "respectfully" and figure things out. What is truly in the best interest of your children - the only reason why they were sobbing about the show is because they made a bond with the crew, the people, not the show and all the dirty laundry you dish out to the public about Jon, your just as bad if not worse than he is. Cancel the show. Kate has talked to the TV public more about her sobbing crap more than Jon. Kate is afraid her "celebrity" "chance at fame" is going to be gone. Get over it Kate - and be a real mom instead of a TV mom for once. And stop saying that you do all this for the kids, cuz we all know your doing this for yourself cuz your an attention whore.

If the kids cried because they can't do the show doesn't mean the show is a good idea. Toddlers cry when you tell them they can't play with the electrical outlets! Sometimes what kids want and what's good for them are two different things.
I don't know what Jon's motivation is, but if he sees they need to give up the show, and is willing to work to provide a normal life for the kids, then maybe he can redeem himself.
I think the way he's going about it so far is wrong, though. It can't be good to violate a court order like this.

Will Jon go to jail over withdrawing the money? If the money was just for Kate to pay bills why did Jon even have access to withdrawing funds?

Is Jon receiving bad advise from his attorney, as Kate and her lawyer suggested? It seems like this is a normal power play in divorces of one spouse clearing out the entire bank/401k etc.
