It would seem that Anka perhpas would have been forgotten if Jacko went ahead and did the tour. We all know Jacko, had no intentions of paying Landis and others for their contributions to his sucess. The song that was written in the 1980'3 .with Anka ,and he sang it in 1991 but did not put it on his album that year. The people that helped Jacko creatively can finally get their monies, via Branca etc. I am glad for him.

Where's the quote from Anka about McClain saying something to the effect of we should have known, the writing was too good to be Michael's?
IF that were really said, it was a brown-nosing "dont-sue-please" type move. Anka is a damn good songwriter, however, he's completely on par with MJ.

Paul Anka slandered a dead personâs good name yesterday by accusing him of taking tapes that he had to threaten him with legal action to return. He had the estate by the throat and deliberately stole publicity that should have been all MJs yesterday. He handled it very poorly and it reflects very negatively on him. He only changed his tune when he got the 50%. He was going to file an injunction if they hadnât caved to his demands.
MJ is being exploited again and again and again. when will it stop?

I just heard that Michael has been nominated for "5" American Music Awards, How befitting for The King of Pop to recieve this recognition...If Michael Jackson is the recipient, I would love to see his "Son" Prince Michael recieve any award on behalf of his beloved father.. Jermaine needs to take a back seat, let his children begin to understand there Daddy's true greatness... Pass the mantle to his son "Prince"
