He took the rap for both him and his wife so she wouldn't be deported, I don't think this is the last of this disfunctional family that we will see, both mom and dad are pathetic, I just hope the kids will grow up and be ok....but with them as parents I'm not sure. TLC will probebly pick up this family for a show, now that they are down 1.

What a smuck!!! They should make him spend 90 days in a balloon. Poor kid will always and forever be known as "Balloon Boy". He will probably grow up to be a serial killer.

I agree with #7! Don't let these stooges profit as a result of their crime...and yeah, creating a false emergency and the costs to the state of Colorodo as a result of their lies are CRIMINAL. I hope the kids will not be injured too badly as result of their parents greed, but one can never underestimate the influence of nasty genes....

They both got off way too easy considering all the money that was spent by law enforcement to find their "missing" child! And I LOVE the excuse that the father didn't know better because he ONLY has a High School diploma. That's an insult to graduates everywhere! I say deport her because looking at the tape she was definitely in on the "joke", send his ass to jail and get those kids into a safe home environment before his antics kills one of them!
