Found it interesting the prosecutor kept raising concern over whether they were coerced into making the plea deal. Wonder what, if any, conditions or guarantees were made with the Feds not to deport Mayumi back to Japan?

So now the parents are free to travel the States. Interesting. Do they still have their passports or were they confiscated by the authorities/court? Watch the southern borders.

TLC or any other network: Please do NOT give this family the platform to continue in the public eye. It would only reinforce further stunts and behavior like the Heenes from other people. Besides, the father just pleaded guilty to a felony-- and you'd want to give him a show?

Can't we send her to jail and deport him? I hope they both get the maximum. They should do some jail time, even if it's only a few days.

If they are legally married, how can she be deported? Doesnt she get citizenship based upon the marriage? Otherwise, how come we see all these fake marriages for people just to get citizenship?

I hope the Heenes are SUED by the family whose wheat field was totally TRASHED by the emergency crews when the balloon landed in that field. The Heenes need to PAY this family for an entire years' lost crop, and I understand it can be planted only every two years, so they need to pay even MORE!

What do you mean "He" should go to jail. "She" should go too because she was involved in this whole thing. Why is it that only men are punished!!!!!!!

I think he is the mastermind (duh) and she's submissive and does what she's told. Either way, they are both idiots.

He did manage to get his name in the headlines..."Pathetic Douchebag Goes To Jail".

His sentencing should be prison time, plus any and all money that this drain on society plans to make from this stunt. People like this should not be rewarded with reality shows or even paid guest appearances on talk shows. If any money is given to the family for this stunt, it should be redirected to the government entities that wasted manpower and resources on this childish stunt.
