First things first. Wife learns about a story in the National Enquirer. Tiger and Wife argue about the facts or non-facts of the situation. She doesn't like the answer and scratches Tigers face. He gets angry and leaves the house in a quick manner. Now the story becomes bizarre.
1. Backing out of a driveway, hitting a fire hydrant and then a tree would not necessarily require anyone from knocking out the rear window of any vehicle.
2. If the Golf clubs were in the car how is it wife had a club in her hand?
If this was anyone else it would only be a line and a report on the police blotter. No worthy news reporting agency would even mention it.
Without sounding like I am taking Tigers side we all know he is a very controlled individual. If anyone overreacted it was his wife. No one is going to jail. No one is paying off the police department or the hospital workers. The pain medication reported by the National Enquirer was for his still recovering operation and not some addiction.
If everyone is smart the matter should be dropped and not become a stupid joke on Letterman, Leno and Conan's show.
This is just a normal argument that husbands and wives have. Enough said.

Response to unreal: I am retired from 40+yrs in law enforcement and in all those years I WAS NEVER offered a bribe and would not have taken it if offered. Law enforcement officers are always "damned if they do and damned if they don't" no matter what the situation or incident! I have served with some of the finest officers and yes you can find a bad cop sometimes but 99% of the men and women in uniform are honest and should be praised and not degraded. Tiger Woods wrecked his vehicle after an altercation with his spouse and the Sheriff's Dept. is investigating the accident. They have rules and protocol to follow and it appears they are doing their jobs in a professional manner.
