Judge Slams Person Suing 'Twilight' Creator

Does this mean Breaking Dawn the movie will come out sooner then 2013?? since the lawsuit was dismissed?? i hope so!!!

My thing is, this Meyer chick is an AWFUL writer, why would anyone take credit for tha schlock?? I mean the chick who wrote the Sookie Stackhouse books is no Shakespear herslef, but at least the characters are interesting. Also a good point to make, is all the Twilight actors are douchey, dirty looking scrubs, while the True Blood actors are HOTTIES!!

I love her story of how she came up with the idea in a dream. But I guess she started running out of ideas on the later books. After reading the legal papers~ I think this book was copied from that lady? Lots and lots of similarities??? I feel sorry for her, she couldn't have a chance between their big time lawyers.................... yikes

Dear TMZ, here is a task for your cub reporters. I think that Stephenie Meyer borrowed from probably several authors. My son found a used book published in 1996 called "Dark Enchantment - Dance with the Vampire" by a British author named J.B. Calchman. It's part of a series of books. In just a very scant review of the book, I find the main character's name is "Ella". She becomes friends with the "Culler" family in which there is a character called "Charlie". Ella forms a relationship with a vampire called Ethan, who reveals himself to have been named Eduard de Savigny 200 years previously, when he turned Ella (called Elisabeth back then) into a vampire. There is a scene that that takes place in a boathouse. These similarities seem way too coincidental to me.

Look ar Nora Robert's book Birthright(publish in 2003, the same year Meyer had her "dream") with a character named Edward Cullen. There was also Jacob, Carlisle, and Alice.

Well the judge is obviously a Stephanie Meyers fan because I read the similarities and they are so incredibly close it's ridiculous. I find it a shame just because this young girl who wrote this as a teenager didn't have the world behind her should have her case dismissed. It should have went to trial. I always thought that Breaking Dawn was very far removed from the first three books in the saga and that all the romance had gone out of the story. It really doesn't surprise me that Stephanie may have taken the story idea from this other girl's work. Sort of reminds me of that movie Big Fat Liar with Paul Giamatti. Well, if I were this girl, I wouldn't give up. Meyer's in my opinion has some explaining to do.

Okay listen people how many people have read book that all have to deal with vampires...there is only so much you can do to make it different than the rest. Flipping out and saying things about the author is gonna do anything to help. Another thing is that one of the way the claimed that the books were similar was that both of the main characters called their spouse love. Meyer's character, Edward has been doing that from the third book which was published before the Nocturne was publish. Jordan Scott claims were not all correct. I am sure this is one thing the Judge notice when reviewing this case.
