The coroner received his body at midnight last night and the autopsy is scheduled for next week. The cause of death is currently unknown.
Mike was 31 years old.

Live to ride and ride to live, those are the words of just about anybody who lays it all out on the line on a motorcycle. Mike was a great freestyle rider and will be greatly missed in the freestyle community. RIP brother we will miss you
Ok come on Mike was in the hospital having his stomach pumped yesterday...that doesn't happen from falling short on a jump that happens from sucking down a bottle of pills like he has always done. Anyone who didn't know that didn't know Mike.
Thanks #7 the least they could do is a little research on FMX.. and no #10 they all are not on drugs...Alot of great guys in MX and FMX but, you I'm sure would'nt know that since you probably don't know anyone personally in the sport. RIP Mike you will be missed.
My deepest sympathies go to his family i am a supporter of jeremy lusk an i hope there is a way to support mike to R.I.P mike
moto guys get addicted to prescribed drugs during recovery from all their injuries. It's a sad reality. RIP CInq
Pull up this guys criminal record in San Bernardino County CA and you will find nothing but bad. Assault(s) with a deadly weapon, multiple D.U.I.'s, etc. Sounds to me like he's been playing with fire for many, many years.
What kind of people are u??? This man was a beloved member of his family..a REAL person.. no he didnt OD u dummies... And as a close friend to his family i can tell u that they are heartbroken and i really pray that they dont read this CRAP thats posted here...
Praying for u Cinqmar family...
my friend is/was a freestlye motocross rider. #425 to you that know. And these guys are not a bunch of drug addict's they are the outkast's, the weird guy's, the one's who use their bikes to escape the world full of hate and B.S. This is what drive's you, makes you tick. And for all the high's you have come the low's. As well as the pain. My buddy has 72 broken bones as well as multiple surguries to his back and wrist's and a few other place's. Taking medication to ease some horrific pain is understandable, but to jump to the conclusion that this young man was a junkie is a big leap. to counter that argument psysical tolerance is different from pysical addiction. He has a wife and a young child who now has no father and husband. please learn who these guys are. They are human's too and deserve a little credit for having the brass one's to go out there night after night doing it no matter what. He was a great rider an an influence on many, our lives do not outshine the loss of it.
So #17 and #19.. Mike did not come up short on a jump the other day. The jump you read about online happend 7 years ago in Adelanto, Ca.( Race Town ) He broke his back on that jump and pretty much retired after that.If you watch his video you would have seen that. So that jump had nothing to do about his death & #28 Moto guys get addicted to prescribed drugs during recovery from all their injuries. It's a sad reality. But it's not the case here and not always true. And #29- Pull up this guys criminal record in San Bernardino County CA and you will find nothing but bad. Assault(s) with a deadly weapon, multiple D.U.I.'s, etc. Sounds to me like he's been playing with fire for many, many years. That's was back when he was a teenager so I mean come just let him rest in peace. We have all done things were not proud of but every one has a past and every one seems to think they know some one but do you really? My heart goes to his family, and the high desert family of friends also!
This is terrible. I really wan to know the cause of death. My prayers go out to the Cinqmars family. Mike is a very well known rider, this is a huge blow to the motocross world. RIP
For those of you that think that freestyle riders get all hooked on pain pills? you have no clue. a true freestyle rider is in a league that no one will ever understand unless you are one. we are special people..people that know what we want from life and go for it. to some its a "crazy" sport, to us, its just another day at the office. to go big doesnt mean you have a few screws loose. its passion. fmx is a drug of its own. you will never know the "high" of being 40feet in the air on a motorcycle. or riding out in front of 30,000+ people unless you have done it. mike was an innovator of this sport, he was a hero to a lot of people, had a heart unlike some of you on here. i had the pleasure to ride with mike. he gave me the time of day not even knowing me at first. a truly nice guy and thats how i will always remember him. people dont understand that his family will read this. anyone that rode with mike is family. the fmx community is a family..something your average tmz reader would never understand! RIDE IN PEACE MIKE!!
Lonny #425
jabarten, you have no clue how much precision goes into freestyle mx. So dont stereo type because dirtbike riders have tattoos.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
