Michael Jackson Coroner Report - House of Drugs

2/8/2010 5:15 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

TMZ has just obtained a copy of the full L.A. County Coroner's report in the death of Michael Jackson -- which until now was under seal. The conclusion is clear ... Propofol killed the singer.

Michael Jackson

According to the report, the manner of death is homicide and the conclusion is based on the following 4 items:

1. Circumstances indicate the Propofol and the benzodiazepines were administered by another.

2. Propofol was administered in a non-hospital setting without any appropriate medical indication.

3. The standard of care for administering Propofol was not met. Recommended equipment for patient monitoring, precision dosing and resuscitation was not present.

4. The circumstances do not support self-administration of Propofol.

The Coroner's report was under wraps until the criminal complaint was filed and it will be a centerpiece in the prosecution of Dr. Conrad Murray on charges of involuntary manslaughter.

UPDATE: In the Coroner's report, the scene at Jackson's house is described in detail, and the bedroom sounds like a hospital. There was a chair next to the bed -- "reportedly the decedent's doctor sat here." Also there -- a green oxygen tank, prescription meds, medical supplies, a box of catheters, disposable needles and alcohol pads. Also found -- near the foot of the bed ... a closed bottle of urine.

As we first reported, authorities found 11 bottles of Propofol in the house -- 3 100 ml vials and 8 20 ml vials.

Also, there was talk about Jackson's hair and reports he was bald. In fact, the Coroner's report says, "The decedent's head hair is sparse and is connected to a wig."

UPDATE: As for what drugs were found in Michael Jackson's house ... authorities found Diazepam (for anxiety) prescribed by Dr. Murray, Lorazepam (for anxiety) prescribed by Dr. Murray and Temazepam (for insomnia) prescribed by Dr. Murray. Authorities also found Clonazepam (for panic disorders) prescribed by Dr. Allan Metzger, Trazodone (an anti-depressant) prescribed by Dr. Metzger. And they found Tizanidine (a muscle relaxer) prescribed to Omar Arnold (a Jackson alias) prescribed by Dr. Arnold Klein. There was also an empty vial of Propofol injectable emulsion and an empty glass vial of a Flumazenil injection (which reverses effects of sedation) and a broken syringe.

As we first reported, authorities found 11 vials of Propofol ... 3 100 ml vials and 8 20 ml vials. None of the bottles had prescription directions, patient or doctor names.

They also found liquid Midazolam (anti-anxiety), Lorazepam liquid (injectable) and 14 capsules of ephedrine (for narcolepsy and depression), caffeine aspirin, Zanaflex (a muscle relaxer) and Prednisone (for skin conditions). There was also Azithromycin (an antibiotic), prescribed by Dwight James/Cherilyn Lee and the patient name was Kathlyn Hursey.

UPDATE: An anesthesiologist who consulted with the Coroner said there are "NO reports of its use (Propofol) for insomnia relief, to my knowledge. The only reports of its use in homes are cases of fatal abuse."

marine_wife, it's 2010. We've got the age of DNA-tests. Michael could NOT live as somebody else. And nobody else could have been autopsied instead of him.

Claire:

Did you watch all the videos in their entirety? I mean too many things just don't add up. A cardiologist doing cpr for an hour before the bodyguard called 9-1-1 (which I'm amazed he's never been interviewed. . atleast not to my knowledge) and a cardiologist not even knowing how to administer proper cpr (on a hard surface)?? What do you think about the two dave dave videos on youtube?? Do you notice anything odd...

Come out of hiding.... hmmm.... I would love to hope so.... but I doubt it. How do you explain "that" to the officials? Now... just a thought... he could always possibly come back as "one of his many impersonators". By then this story will have died down a bit ... then he could live as a "mj impersonator". hmmmmmmm.... just a spur of the moment random thought!

Sweetheart get a grip! The guy is gone.

Marie, while I udnerstand where u are coming from, please also understand that yes MJ was an addict. He may not have shot himself up but he paid other's well to do it for him. He had to provide the funds for these drugs, etc...and I don't think it was Dr. Murray's intent to kill him, also reports from those in the house state that MJ asked REPEATEDLY that "milk" be given to him (his code for Propoful)...and if Dr. Murray didn't do it he would have found someone else, after all Murray was not the only Dr. and b4 him by accts. were other's who under MJ's direction were administering drugs to him. He even went into rehab for his addictions once.
His own family have stated that they were worried about his drug use, prescription, but drugs none the less, and he cut off contact w/them.
MJ was a grown man who should have thought of those 3 kids more then he thought of his fixes.
While I do agree that Dr.'s need to be held accountable for their hypocratic oath and such, I think the addict should be held in even higher accountability for it is their decision. Nobody but MJ addicted themselves to this stuff. And if it had not been Dr. Murray it would have been someone else, sadly MJ was on self-destruct mode. :(

Let's Be Honest

MJ died because he was a junkie.
If it wasn't Murray, it would have been another doctor. He was just doing what MJ wanted him to...afterall, MJ was his employer.

Murray shouldn't be punished.

Wow, this doc could have cared less that he was administering so many drugs to a drug addict. What a shame. Money is the bottom line. How on earth can this doctor say that he did nothing wrong, is beyond me. RIP my sweet angel.

I do as well. It hurts so much to read down that horror-list of meds. Anti-anxieties, anti-depressiva, anti-pain, anti-insomnia. My God, how must it have looked like inside of his man. So much power once, and so much desperation in the end.

This is so sad... It's very disturbing that there are doctors out there that will go against all medical knowledge and do something potentially dangerous to another person because of money. Doctors take pride in having celebrity clients, it's sad that some doctors will do whatever is asked of them, even if it's stupid and unhealthy, for the friendship and money. Now he killed possibly the most famous person alive. How can he live with that? He wanted to be MJ's friend and doctor so bad, he did whatever it took to be put on the payroll. And now someone is dead.

Of course Murray wasn't set out to kill MJ. He did what he did out of greed. He wanted to be MJ's personal doctor, he knew he shouldn't have been putting MJ under anesthesia in his own home, but he did it anyways. He wanted to be MJ's doctor, to go on tour with him, and get that money. He was willing to do whatever because he needed the money, because he is apparently deeply in debt.

Of course the greedy, lazy, incompetent SOB is guilty.
He administered the drugs that killed Michael Jackson
and left him to die. Like most doctors, all he really
cared about was getting paid a hefty amount of dollars.
