Charlie Sheen will spend two weeks in rehab, sources tell TMZ.
We've learned over the last week Charlie told people involved with "Two and a Half Men" that he was getting outpatient help for a problem, though he never specifically said drugs or alcohol.
We're told Charlie has informed the show's producers he will be back in two weeks. "Two and a Half Men" is set to take a one week hiatus in two weeks, so Charlie would not be on the set for 3 weeks.
We're told there are 6 episodes left to tape for the season. And there's this ... Charlie's deal is up at the end of the season. He's renegotiating with Warner Bros. but the recent turn of events won't help his negotiating position.

Those poor children. They need stability..not staying in a rehab with their mother!! Charlie's lucky this is his last season b/c he has too much on his plate.
Rehab, what a load. Celebrities all think that redhab is the answer to any bad pr.

Charlie, I will give you a non-Hollywood good luck on your efforts to live without drugs, and alcohol. No more hiding behind your addictions, and stand up straight.
Though it certainly won't help his negotiating power, it is not likely to hurt him much either. There is no show without Charlie or Jon Cryer and the network absolutely knows this. Everyone else is replaceable or can be written out. It'd be tough to write out the kid but considering the dorky in-between phase he's in, believe me, it can be done.
WHO CARES!? They BOTH need to become permanent rehab residents. The kids should go to the state!
Two & a half men wouldnt be the same without him!!!
Good luck Charlie!!
What level of education do the people working at TMZ actually have? How is a two week stint in rehab going to negatively affect the negotiating power of the star of the most popular sitcom on television? A star who has had roles written specifically for him, roles that focus on drunkenness and womanizing. They even keep his real first name, for pete's sake (Two and a Half Men, Sin City).
It's pure economics......Charlie Sheen sells. He is likeable, regardless of his shortcomings. They NEED Charlie in order to keep producing the show.
How utterly moronic to imply that rehab might negatively affect his contract. Do you people actually work in Hollywood?? Hello?
