SportsCenter Falls Victim to Prank Caller ... Live

2/24/2010 8:30 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

That sour look on Scott Van Pelt's face says it all -- because he got hosed by one of Howard Stern's faithful prank callers last night during a live segment on SportsCenter.

SportsCenter: Click to view!

It all went down during what Scott thought was an interview with Philadelphia Eagles' recently released running back Brian Westbrook -- until the guy, legendary prank caller Captain Janks, mentioned a certain body part of the King of All Media.

Scott's initial reaction, "Oh boy, we got that, huh?"

Yeah, you did.

I'm sorry but I've never liked Howard Stern. I always thought he was highly overrated with a sub par radio show that perverted old ass men listen to.

I'm a big Stern fan but I have to say I really think it's time for him to hang it up. These use to be funny but because he's on satellite and hardly ever heard about anymore, these prank call have no real impact as they use to. After this horrible thing with Artie I really feel the show has had all the fun sucked out of it.
He's not as relevant as he use be because he doesn’t reach the millions he use to. People use to "have" to go on his show and endure his questions because the wanted the exposure. Now all he seems to be able to get are the same old friends of the show. People don't care what he says about them anymore because he can't sink a career or movie opening with his comments as he use to. Plus once he made friends with his arch enemy Rosie O’Donnell I kinda lost a lot of respect for him. That and the trophy wife. He use to goof on Larry King about his young wife and now look at him. There's just something very wrong with the whole show now.

He seems to be selling out on a lot of ideals he use to stand for.

Sorry Howie, but I think they're playing Taps in the back ground.

This douche should've kept the interview going but it looks like he takes his profession way too seriously. It is only "sports" news, he should be hosting dressed in his underwear and sitting on a couch.
