Quentin Tarantino Sued Over 'Kill Bill'

Quentin Tarantino Sued Over 'Kill Bill'Quentin Tarantino -- fresh from his Oscar loss -- is now being sued by a man who claims Q.T. ripped off his concept to create "Kill Bill."

In a lawsuit filed today, Dannez Hunter claims in 1999 he submitted a treatment to Miramax about a fictional character named Ren. Short story -- he says eventually Miramax, Harvey Weinstein and Q.T. ripped off his work, including the "concept/character name Ren." He claims Q.T. pilfered Ren witnessing her mother's sadistic murder, the knife through the mother's abdomen, and on and on.

And there's this. Hunter, who says he was from the inner city, applied for a job at Miramax but "was never given a return phone call, as numerous similar situated less qualified Jewish and White people were bestowed job after job after job."

Hunter continues his Jews-run-Hollywood themed lawsuit by alleging he was denied royalties in the "Kill Bill" franchise compared to similarly situated Whites and Jews.

Hunter wants more than a million bucks. Mazel Tov.

Reps for Tarantino had no comment.

so what

2.

Hmmmmm really?!? Eleven years to figure out some took your idea? Hmmmmm really?!?

3.

So it's a P O'd black guy from what I read.. Jews and Whites got jobs
he felt qualified for over them.. Jews are white, this guy has a bad
'tute'.

I did hear the working title was "KILL HUNTER" but was changed to
Bill.

Another disgruntled man of the black persuasion... Oh well!

4.

Not a shock, since QT has made bank on ripping off the movies he grew up on and passing them off as original.

However, if this dude submitted an uncopyrighted treatment to a major movie studio it's his own damn fault. Stealing lesser people's shine is Hollywood's M.O, so if you're looking to penetrate the industry you BETTER have you paperwork in order.

5.

Q was robbed yesterday.

Getting skunked just totally sucks balls.

Basterds rocked, so did the others but at least he could have gotten one Oskarami for the trophy shelf.

This douchebag sounds like he wrote this lame excuse for a lawsuit a little too late and without a lawyer.

6.

Basterds was extremely overrated. The one who did the best Job at acting won and he was the only one who deserved anything. Christoph waltz is pretty cool.

7.

Uh hello! Quentin and Uma came up with the idea for Kill Bill during the Pulp Fiction shoot which was in 1994- someone's fishing for $$.

8.

He forgot to name Uma as well, being that she helped write the screenplay. LMBAO!

9.

Kevin James ripped off the script for Mall Cop. I sent the information to TMZ a few days before it opened in the theaters. It included the entire detailed story from the original author to the people involved in Hollywood but TMZ ignored it.

It's mentioned here http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/2009/02/paul_blart_mall_cop.html

Why does TMZ protect James but go out of there way to bury Tarantino?

10.

Oh great. His older films are the best and you can't doubt that.

11.

z, Kill Bill is a Miramax franchise. Mall Cop is a Sony/Columbia property. You don't mess with the big boys.

12.

WHY DID THIS FOOL WAIT ALL THIS TIME TO TRY TO SUE HIM THE MOVIE DIDNT COME OUT YESTERDAY IT HAS BEEN OUT .CLAIMS HE SHOWED IT IN 1999 DARLIN IT IS 2010 .HE JUST WANT THE FAME AND $$$$$$$$ MONEY QT HAS .PROVING IT WILL BE THE HARD PART.

13.

I believe him. This sound like a true story. I hope he's
heard in court (at least).

14.

Never too late for trying to make a buck, right Dannez?

15.

uhmm....just because you are not white (or Jewish) does not make you automatically black. Not every black man is angry. I for one am very happy being a black man, whose partner just happens to be a beautiful white man. Put that in your pipe!

But back to the story...makes no sense. He will lose big time. The end.
