Casey Johnson -- Heiress with No Fortune

3/11/2010 8:06 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Casey Johnson -- a member of the famously-wealthy Johnson & Johnson family -- died with approximately $75,000 in assets and with no will ... according to legal documents filed by her father, Robert Johnson IV and obtained by TMZ.

In the docs, Johnson, the owner of the New York Jets, is asking the court to appoint him Special Administrator of Casey's estate.

He says "it is necessary for him to take possession of all of the assets ... as quickly as possible to preserve her estate from damage, waste, injury and publicity."

The papers claim, "Members of the media have previously attempted to gain access to her personal effects."

Casey's mom, Nancy Sale Frey Johnson, says in a declaration she consents to Robert being appointed Special Administrator.

Also in the legal docs, Nancy says she currently has custody of Casey's daughter, Ava, and is in the process of attempting to either adopt her or become her legal guardian -- something Tila Tequila surely wants to hear.

she's not stupid folks

Casey's parents cut her off because of the drug use. They did not want to give her money when she just spent it on drugs and getting high. They both loved her and were trying tough love. Her father paid for numerous rehabs and wanted her to go back. He had a foundation in her name for diabetic research and was consantly worried about her. Her mother took custody of the daughter Casey adopted because Casey could not care for her with the drugs. Drugs were more important to Casey than anything else, even taking her insulin which she had to take a few times a day. The only responsible for Casey's death was Casey. and like another poster said, she was a heir, an heir gets money after the parents die, they are both alive, so she had no right to any money yet. Just like Tori Spelling whining, her father left rightfully everything to his wife, after Candy's death, than it is handed down to the children. As for Casey's father taking charge of the $75k, it is right, you don't want Tila to grab, it should go to the adopted daughter and will after probate.

She wouldn't inherit any money until everyone up the food chain died before her.
