Michael Douglas -- Prison Can Save My Son

What a dumb ass kid...If my dad was michael Douglas I would be surrounded by women,cars and good pot.....this loser is going to be surrounded by tough guys and gay sex

I'm glad his son is not only going to prison, but that he was also not spared a prison sentence even though a bunch of celebs spoke on his behalf to the judge during his trial. What a moron, with a father like Michael Douglas, you'd think he wouldn't need to be selling drugs on the side.

Granted, he'll probably only serve half the 5 year sentence, but that's still a pretty long time to be locked up in prison. Michael Douglas is right though, this is probably the only thing that will serve as a solid wake up call.

Who's the bigger loser jr or sr? The blame game between his father and biological mother seems pretty immature.

But it would stand to reason that Michael acted out his life like his father and there is such a pattern. This kid had no direction, no structure, so it is no wonder he turned out like this. The kid has been doing drugs since he was 13 and it took someone else to intervene.

I like the fact that Michael isn't making excuses or enabling his son's behavior. Drug addiction effects so many people AND their families. So I applaud Mr. Douglas for recognizing that his son does have to do the time for the crime and not making excuses for him. Can't be easy for any parent to think of their child in prison for 5 years or more.

Michael Douglas is a loser... don't you people remember Mike Douglas bragging about selling huge supplies of cocaine to finance the movie One Flew Over the Cookoo's Nest? Michael Douglas was never there for his son growing up he was too busy sleeping with every ho around Hollywood. Michael Douglas should be the one in prison on charges of child neglect - money doesn't buy everythig except his 30 year younger ho current wife. What a loser & joke. Shame on him. Glad his career is over!!!!!!

I remember when he was in Streets of San Fransico.with Karl Mauldon....I wonder if his son has a boyfreind yet..its been a few days now...

You guys are being too hard on Michael Douglas. There are a ton of kids out there who start experimenting around with drugs in their teens. And their parents come down on them, punish them, the kids promise to stop, the parents may think it is just a phase, they will grow out of it, etc., etc. Then, wham, before you know it they are 18 and there is almost nothing you can do at that point. Happens all the time. If anyone is a complete dumba*s it's Cameron who could have lived a charmed life as the son of a wealthy movie star, but threw it all away. He's still young enough, though, to put it all behind him when he gets out. But he has to say total bye-bye to not only the drugs but the people and lifestyle that go along with it.

I wish his son well but its easier to get high in prison than on the outside.
He will end up dealing in prison or at least getting high all the time.

The kid has been in jail for one year now. He will do another 1.5 years and be out. His father will then set him up in several businesses that will fail. The father will eventually past away and leave his money to his douche bag son. The son will piss it all away and will end up as a junkie living on the streets.

READ THIS MICHAEL, YOU JACKASS-----you were constantly unfaithful to your son's mother while he was growing up. You were a total slut on wheels. You let your son down. Then you go off , after screwing half of Hollywood, and marry someone else and have your perfect little "new-family" of what, 2 or 3 other kids. You have your perfect little world after CRASHING your first child's world.
AND YET YOU NEVER ADMIT IT.
To those of you who don't know, Michael was a "sex addict" who went to "rehab" and all that B.S.

Your son will go back to his old habits less than a year from his prison release. And then after another year, he will overdose and die.
