O.C. Housewife: My Kids Fell in the Pool Because ...

7/9/2010 11:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

A "Real Housewives" star is finally explaining how a stroller carrying two of her daughters managed to roll into a swimming pool last weekend -- and according to Alexis Bellino, it all has to do with the brake.

0709_bellini_BN_01

Bellino -- who stars on "The Real Housewives of O.C." -- posted a blog saying, "Our girls were in their stroller and I thought I had put the brake on, but apparently I didn't." As TMZ first reported, the parents weren't paying attention ... and the stroller rolled into the pool.

The reality star then explains that her husband "instantly" jumped in after the kids and plucked both of them out of the water before their heads went under the water.

Bellino notes that there's a lesson parents can learn from the incident -- "never take our eyes off the children for even a second when near water."

I am so surprised to hear that the twins are still in a stroller. Wasn't it just last season they went out with their mother to get mani/pedis? How old are they, anyway? Bunch of idiot parents! Reality TV is gonna get some poor kid killed some day. They use only brain-dead parents for these shows ad the kids are along for decoration.

Hey Samantha! We know what it means...you don't need to be perfect to have basic, common sense with children near a pool. Shut the F up, put the drink down & potty train your kids.

Pretty sure that any decent parent would already know to keep your eyes on your kids when they are next to water...OR better yet, keeps your eyes on your kids ALL THE TIME.

"never take our eyes off the children for even a second when near water."

Wow, it took their kids stroller doing a header into a pool before she came up with that nugget of wisdom ? Some people shouldn't be allowed to breed...

Why is a child that age still wearing diapers???

She looks like the Waffle Whiffer and Jim looks like that "Kilroy was here" cartoon from World War II. Poor kids probably took the brake off themselves with that gene pool.

You should always know to watch your children and not only around water. This is whats wrong with the world today,it took a stroller falling in the water to think "oh I need to watch my children at all times" come on already....Strollers are not babysitters. whats the point of taking the kids out to the pool if your going to keep them locked in a stroller...

That "kid" looks like she is in middle school A little OLD
to wear a diaper Alexis. Also- it looks like you are at a
"city pool". Whats wrong...hubby can't afford your own
private pool in your mansion? You must be so pissed, having
to mingle with all those "pee-ons"! But I guess when you
have to choose between fake boobs, or a nice in-ground pool,
we know what YOU chose Alexis. Next time...get your nose
done too...you look like friggin Pinocchio.....

She was too busy playing I Spy on her husband, she didn't have time to set the brakes.

I agree that no parent is perfect, but come on. Children need to be watched constantly around water, especially if they are small enough to be in a stroller. Take responsibility and stop putting the blame on other things. If you were paying attention to your children the stroller would not have rolled far- if at all.

First of all, those kids are too big to be in a stroller. They probably were messing around and undid the brakes. Regardless.. You have to pay attention.

I think there should be a rule in cases like this that all Fire/Rescue teams automatically whisk the child away into the ambulance "Sorry Ma'm no riding along you have to drive your own stupid ass. Try & keep up".
Then get the kids stable...God willing. When when the idiot parents get to the hospital. Tell them "We did all we could. I'm sorry but you're child is taking that eternal Nee Naw in the sky in other words Mr. & Mrs Moron you KILLED YOUR KIDS!".
Next, tell them they can see the corpse in a little while after we "can make them less shocking to look at", Make 'em sit & go crazy with grief for an hour two than send the emergency staff out to scream SURPRISE! The kids's alive.
GET IT? YOU EFFING S@#thead! WAKE UP! WATCH YOUR CHILDREN ALWAYS YOU SELF ABSORBED, NARCISSISTIC BIMBOS!
The kids should be given away to the first couple looking to adopt. Preferably someone with little money. More likely to have more centered morals, be grounded & have better values AND be purposely hands on with their kids at all times. Not busy partying or leaving the kids with the Nanny - Oh I mean the Au Pair pardon me these people are so effing fabulous I'm sure they only call them "My Au Pair" burgeois. I don't care, straight, gay or from another planet. It's my opinion that kids from less privileged families often grow up with more love & less screwed up. Just generalizin'
Something about excess that seems to take too much attention away from people's ability to keep their minds on what's important in life regardless of the walk of life from which they come.
If you want to play want to be all about yourself don't need to but want to work so you have an identity (God knows kids aren't enough to make these bats feel validated & worthwhile) Ehh, I'm just a bitter ex latchkey kid.

Next time I hope her fat husband trips & cracks his big head on the pool, dies & leaves her to find out he lied. There's no money, no insurance & then she'll be sorry she was so bitchy to Vicki because she may now have to beg for a job cleaning Vicki's house.
Jesus slinging slut.
