King James Goes Old Testament, LeBron Hires Rabbi

8/10/2010 2:20 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

LeBron ... L'Chaim!!!

0810_Lebron_James_Rabbi_ex_TMZ_04
TMZ has obtained this exclusive photo of LeBron James in a business meeting earlier today with Rabbi Yishayahu Yosef Pinto ... a man known around New York as the "Rabbi to the Business Stars."

Sources involved with the meeting tell us LeBron had hired Rabbi Pinto for spiritual guidance for a "big merchandising meeting" that took place on a private yacht somewhere off the coast of NY just hours ago.

Rabbi Pinto -- a 37 year-old-man who speaks only Hebrew -- has met with all sorts of business moguls in the past ... and is considered by some to be a "spiritual guide" who consults on business matters.

We're told LeBron paid in the neighborhood of 6-figures to get Rabbi Pinto to sit in on today's meeting ... in which LeBron heard presentations from several "big time" retail execs.

It's been a big summer for the Jews -- with Amar'e Stoudemire meeting with rabbis in Israel ... and Shaq learning Hebrew

It's only a matter of time before they start poppin' Manischewitz in the clubs!

Exactly, religion defines itself as something which doesn't need proof. So everyone can come up with every kind of bull**** and claim that it's a religion, so he doesn't need to prove anything. That's called being willfully ignorant. You know that there's not even a hint that your belief system might be true, you just assume it is and block out any contradicting views.

And yes, I do "believe" our lives revolve about the here and now. We're a very intelligent animal, and we're smart enough to know we're going to die, and be afraid of death, so we're making up stories that take away our fear.
We and apes have evolved from a common ancestor, if you deny that, you're just wrong. You may *believe* you're right, because your holy book tells you to, but it's been proven to be false. To deny that is insanity. You're stupid.

No idea what you're babbling about gravity. It obviously exists and we're working out the reason why it exists. We're not there yet, that's what science is about. We're seeking for the truth. We don't have it all from the first day, but we're working on it. You are not. You have some book, written by cavemen ****ting in a tent, who knew nothing about the world, and you regard it as fact. You may call that being "man of faith", I call it "you ****ing idiot don't even want to know how things actually work. Your pathetic close minded world view is outdated and idiotic."

It is Disgusting how Jewish Media supports one religion but slams anything to do with Jesus. These men will get nothing by paying a bunch of crooked yitz shister rabbis six figures.

Apparently so called jewish leaders will help people for the almighty dollar?

Jesus said such conduct was an insult to god.

There's only one way to know something doesn't exist - and that's by knowing everything that exists, and recognizing the absence of that thing. For those of you who *know* there is no supreme being, you are holding an indefensible position.

Because we haven't had access to the entirety of the universe, the only logical options are A) to believe there is a supreme being, or B) not to know whether there is a supreme being. Depending on what you take away from your environment, you can defend either of these positions with logic.

With reference to the text of the Bible being disproven - if that were true, all it would do is discredit the Bible as absolute. It would not be prima facie evidence of there being no supreme being.

My inclination is to believe in a supreme being because all matter had to originate somewhere, and the complexity of this world is such that indicates to me that it could not have developed independently. Because no one knows the *cause* of the big bang (none of us having been there), I think this rationale stands up against any on logical grounds.

This is what happens when you give someone "too much" money. They convince themsleves they need other people around to make decisions for them, and pay them stupid money to do so. Dude, make your own decisions and donate that money to charity. Be a man.

Is this for real? I mean do people really go to a guy like this "Rabbi"? Lebron has a better chance going to Rambo for spiritual guidance.

Why don't you seek wisdom and guidance from the Holy Spirit> He is Free to all who wishes to know Him and the Will of God concerning their lives.

The Word tells us, "He who lacks Wisdom let him ask for it...He is willing to give them liberally".

Stop falling for the world status.

Whamo -

Follow whichever religion or bible that you want, I don't really care. My point is that all of your certainty about the lack of a supreme being is logically indefensible. However, saying there is a supreme being, much like saying there is a computer in front of me, is much easier to prove depending on what you take away from your environment.

In your particular case, if you maintain your atheism in the face of its fallacy (distinct from agnosticism), I'd venture to say it's because you're scared of the implications of the existence of a supreme being. Note that nothing I've said is tied to any organized religion.

Whamo is gettin owned right, left and centre, only reason he has that everyone has a religion and there are to many sects and blah,go study every religion then come up with your own argument,i bet you havent even read one religious verse in your life and you think you know every religion and sect in this world and can call them baseless.
Ignorance can make some people blindly follow a path they feel is easy

Whamo they way you believe you guessed my religious beliefs even shows me how more ignorant you are on all religions in the world, your more of a person who believes hes really smart, but never makes it even close,i can openly say i believe this world is too complex to understand and i would rather have religion to fall back on in times of despair, rather then try to come up with theories why Tsunami or earthquakes or anything else happens,or why is a part of humanity looks so hard for life on other planets, mostly cause there scared **** of there pants to know what other creations can be out there

I think Lebron has been scammed.this rabbi operates out of a $28 Million building in NYC. He's known as a rabbi to Israeli in NYC they consult him on business and personal matters, some have stated "Pinto's attention is about "how big a contributor" someone is . His only known relative in the US is under investigation by the NYPD due to "bilking vulnerable New York Jews out of hundreds of thousands of dollars by offering divine promises for cash
