Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland took a nasty fall off an elevated stage in Cincinnati last night -- and it took security nearly a minute just to pull him back up onto the stage.
After taking a minute to regain his composure, Weiland -- like the frickin' rock star that he is -- picked up right in the middle of the song and belted out the rest of the show.

Where is Cincinatti? I live in CINCINNATI ... never been to Cincinatti!!
Where did he think he was going?
Prolly so high that he didnt feel a thing...
I still remember my STP show from the late 90's and it was killer.
Time for a rubber fence for all performers! Seriously, many performers have been really hurt this way.
If it was anything like the show in DC back in May he was too wasted to feel anything.
I am beginning to think guard rails are in order. Maybe ten foot brick wall for Gaga.
Am I just hearing things, or does it sound like his vocal continued after he fell off the stage?
Yet the "recorded live soundtrack" with his vocals still played on in the background well after he fell. I am surprised TMZ didnt mention that part...that is more interesting then hearing about Scott falling. His show is so very obviously pre recorded...prob because the other members of STP are afraid Scott will be too high and/or drunk to actually sing, sorta like the latest failed Van Halen tour where Eddie was always too wasted to play.
As musician I know you often can't see s--it when on stage. Between the lights, and equipment it can be dangerous. One doesn't have to be stoned or entranced to fall. Different venues have different stage sizes too.
Thank God The Lip Sync Machine Kept Going!!!
Can't Have A "Live" Show Without Lip Syncing!
This Is A Fine Example Of Pre-Recorded Vocals Folks!!!
THE CAKE IS A LIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
STOP PUTTING UP WITH THIS FAKE PERFORMANCE STUFF!!!
Or the music you've grown to love, will die!!!
That's my man! Lip-syncing didn't seem to bother the crowd! And if you think bands don't have pre-recordings playing for just such an incident you're an idiot.
