In 2009, Don plead no contest to "corporal injury resulting in traumatic condition of a spouse" and sentenced to 36 months probation.

The, sexiest, smoothest, man on TV back in the day. Never misssed Soul Train when I was growing up. Too cool!! Made **** Clark dancers look stupid.

I *LOVE* Don Cornelius! Soul Train is quite possibly THE greatest series ever on TV. It's importance goes way beyond entertainment. I've been having a blast watching old episodes on Comcast, including the mindblowing episode #1 from 1971. I think I've watched it 20 times already. :) Thank you Mr. Cornelius for these wonderful shows!
