'Deadliest Catch' Trio to Return to Show

WHO CARES.....

I'm not even remotely surprised. Discovery knew there was no way they could keep ratings up if they lost the three biggest members of the show (Hansen, Hillstrand, and Harris who died).

Nobody like the Hillstrands, the Harris boys are the new favorite.

Not shocked about this but most people like the Hillstrand's and the Harris boys are favorites as well. But lots of women who watch (those 32 and up like me) love Cpt. Johnathan.

Phew. With Captain Phil gone, it would have been a bummer to lose those three, too. As dorky as it is, I am hooked on Deadliest Catch.

I'm also hooked on Deadliest Catch. Johnathan Hillstrand is so yummy. I love the rough rugged look.

What a stupid show. Every show they just bitch and moan about catching crabs, that's it. Every show is the same!

Thank You! This is the only reality TV we watch and we were pretty disappointed that they weren't going to return to the show - that would've been AWFUL. SO SO glad to hear this!

Who's surprised.... Money... I've been watching one of the 3 being talked about with interest as far as the public's seeming love for him. I won't name him but it's not Sig. Lets say I knew and spent time with a few of the original captains on this show and one of these (now 2) guys being talked about over a period of time. If this show was just about their jobs that would be fine but the personal lifestyle of a few would lose them most of the fans they have. Kids love these guys. That's a problem. The companies ramming them down our throats would run. They should do their homework. Why is America making hero's out of them? You wouldn't if you knew the truth. They just do what their fathers did and took it over. For the money they make and if you knew nothing else you would be doing it too. It's getting old.

I love that show, glad Discovery Channel came to their senses. lol.

sounds like typical renegotiation of salary to me. how many times do we hear about someone possibly not returning to a show when their contract's up? yawn. next.

i salute the guys that do this work but one commenter mentioned,if their daddy hadn't done it before them and they inherited the captain seat,they'd not be on t.v. each week.i think we need to see more captains move into the lime light. maybe edgar hansen could get a boat and kick sig's butt.
