Conrad Murray -- I Wanna Be Like Kobe!

10/27/2010 6:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Michael Jackson's doc rocked a Kobe Bryant jersey out in Santa Monica before yesterday's game -- a huge risk, considering when Conrad Murray lends his support, things don't always pan out ...

But Kobe came through in the end yesterday -- inching out a victory over the Houston Rockets 112 -110.

really?

Is this a joke? It looks so photoshopped. He's just walking freely with no security? Didn't he have to be in court yesterday?

How can this all be real?

After all the support the people of Acre's Homes in Houston gave to Conrad you'd think he would have the juevos to wear a Rockets jersey or at least an Artest one. Then again CA can have him.

Darn TMZ

Yesterday, Dr Death was in COURT!!!

YOU REFUSE TO PROVIDE US WITH AN UPDATE!!!!

ANOTHER THING, YOU REFUSE TO POST THIS "AWESOME" NEWS ABOUT QUACK, QUACK!!!

Jackson doctor's legal bills issue in Texas court

"An insurer for the doctor charged in Michael Jackson's death has asked a judge to rule that it is not responsible for the physician's legal bills in two high-profile court cases and fights to retain his medical license.

Medicus Insurance Co. argues that Dr. Conrad Murray's medical malpractice policy doesn't cover his defense costs because the cases stem from alleged criminal wrongdoing, according to do***ents filed Wednesday in state court in Houston. Murray's policy, which was purchased roughly a month before Jackson's death in June 2009, did not cover incidents involving general anesthesia, the company argues.

Murray faces an involuntary manslaughter charge in Los Angeles, where authorities accuse him of administering a lethal dose of the anesthetic propofol to the pop star in the bedroom of his rented mansion.

The criminal case is just one of the legal challenges Murray faces. He has been sued by Jackson's father for wrongful death in federal court in Los Angeles, and authorities have sought to either suspend or limit his medical license in Texas, California and Nevada. One of Murray's clinics is in Houston.

The doctor is relying on four attorneys in California and Texas to defend him in the criminal and civil cases. He has argued that he needs to maintain his medical license to pay for his criminal defense.

Medicus, which is based in Austin, claims it is not required to defend Murray's medical license in the three states. The insurer argues that scrutiny by Texas and California officials came as a result of allegations of wrongdoing in Jackson's death, and that Nevada attempted to suspend Murray's medical license because he was behind on child support payments, not for his medical work."

The article is quite lengthy.

Doctor Charged in Michael Jackson's Death Faces Hearing Next Year

"Conrad Murray - charged with the involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson -- will have his preliminary hearing in January, RadarOnline.com is reporting.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor scheduled the hearing for January 4th.

During that court event, the judge will determine whether there is enough evidence for the cardiologist to stand trial.

Murray is accused of giving Jackson a lethal dose of sedatives, including the anesthetic propofol.

He had been hired to serves as the singer's personal physician during a series of comeback concerts.

After emerging from a 45 minute in chambers meeting with Judge Pastor and Dr. Murray's attorneys, the District Attorney, David Walgren, said he expected the hearing would last for about 10-15 days.

"This is a must go counsel on January 4th," Judge Pastor said.

Judge Pastor also asked for "counsel to submit a stipulation by November 4th, 2010 about the handling of certain forensic evidence."

It wasn't specified what the evidence was or which lawyers would be submitting the do***entation.

Dr. Murray submitted to a waiver that would allow his preliminary hearing to be interrupted once it began.

Judge Pastor said, "Dr. Murray has an interest in the preliminary hearing. The Jackson family has an interest in it, as others do."
