Teri Hatcher's Never-Ending Divorce

11/9/2010 2:35 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Teri Hatcher and Jon Tenney are legally divorced, but the conflict goes on ... because they showed up to court today to hash out a plan on who gets to spend time with their daughter over the holidays.

Teri Hatcher Divorce:
We're told the issue is over their daughter Emerson, who turns 13 tomorrow. The judge will decide which parent spends Thanksgiving and Christmas with the teenager.

Teri is sitting in the courtroom right now, with fellow divorcees in the peanut gallery.

The couple divorced in 2003, but apparently custody and visitation have become nagging problems.

UPDATE: The picture above is of Teri leaving the courthouse.

One gets Christmas, one gets Thanksgiving. Flip a coin if you can't decide. Next year...alternate. Take turns each year. Problem solved.

In between that time, start setting aside a LARGE fund specifically for this poor child's therapy sessions she'll undoubtedly need later in life.

Hatcher is a no talent publicity whore. This woman comes off so desperate for attention that its no wonder she is on that silly TV show. Poor woman gets no love because Men know exactly what she is. I feel bad for her kids.

I agree, just ask THE KID!

If I was the judge I would make them all spend the holidays together! And if either parent or their company acts up on the holidays, then that parent gets jail-time and possibly lose some visitation rights. The child needs to be in school and in a home, not shipped around like a package on the holidays and weekends.

I don't agree with a kid deciding on which parent to alienate!! Especially when the richer parent is likely bribing for the affection! Parenting should be made by 2 equal parents, not by the courts or the kids!

How is this Divorce issues TMZ? Really are you that dumb? Its custody issues, they divorced 7 years ago, the parents are morons and selfish, 1 gets her for Thanksgiving, the other for Christmas, it doesn't take a rocket scientist or a judge to figure this out, when that girl turns 18 in 5 yrs she's going to live on the other side of the country from these two nut jobs.

Judge, throw a bleep'n quarter in the air. Let Hatcher call heads or tails. If she wins... pick one holiday... the husband gets the other. If any problems happen in transferring the child to the other parent by the next time prescribed holiday... you lose two future holidays... Thus each parent has a vested interest in not screwing with the other. This crap happens all the time... it needs to end.

I also agree. Just ask the kid. I'm sure she can have Thanksgiving at both her Mom and Dad. She will need a ride.

OMG how ridiculous! The kid is plenty old enough to decide for herself who she wants to spend what with. If she's smart, she'll go somewhere away from the both of them!

Dirty Martini

Oh geez puh-leez. One gets Thanksgiving; the other gets Christmas. And next year you alternate.

Has worked for me, the former Mr. Dirty martini, and son of Dirty Martini for YEARS. No court intervention required.

Did anyone bother asking the kid what she thought was fair? Try it, she will probably give time to each parent and ask some for herself--which it sounds like the poor girl needs. Keep up the fighting and your daughter will hate being with both of you.

Love Teri Hatcher!
Agree with her daughter being 13 she should be able to decide herself.
