Michael Jackson's Lead Single -- 'Hold My Hand'

The first new Michael Jackson single will be a not-so-new duet with Akon -- a song entitled "Hold My Hand" that was originally leaked in 2008.


Epic Records/Sony Music just announced the lead single off the upcoming album "Michael" -- and "Hold My Hand" will be released this coming Monday, November 15 on

Akon and MJ recorded the track back in 2007 ... a raw, incomplete version was eventually leaked to the public.

1112_akon_mj_small_audio2The new album will feature a total of 10 tracks -- including the controversial "Breaking News" -- when it's released December 14.

IF the undead Michael Jackson hadn't conveniently "died" you wouldn't be out buying this piecemeal inferior junk.

You can tell that this song was incomplete because Michael is a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to his music. thats what made all of his hits huge. well that and his talent. But, when you hear this leaked version you automatically know that this is something Michael wasn't ready to put out. He was still working on it. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE THIS SONG. But you can just tell that it's not a complete MJ hit. When I hear it I can't even imagine how it would have sounded if Michael was still alive and had the chance to finish it. All I know is that it would have been MAGICAL, and a number one hit.
