Mel Gibson -- Armed and Loaded

11/12/2010 3:44 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Mel Gibson had multiple weapons that he turned over to the LAPD, after Oksana Grigorieva accused him of domestic violence ... TMZ has learned.

TMZ has obtained an LAPD document called "Receipt for Property Taken Into Custody," dated July 15, 2010.  Judge Scott Gordon ordered Mel to surrender his weapons, after Oksana filed for a domestic violence restraining order.  The order to surrender is standard operating procedure when domestic violence is alleged.

Here's what Mel surrendered:

-- A blue steel, semi-automatic 9 millimeter Glock handgun

-- A blue steel, semi-automatic  9 millimeter Beretta handgun

-- A blue steel, semi-automatic 12 gauge Benelli shotgun

-- A blue steel, lever action Winchester rifle

-- A magazine for the Glock

-- A magazine for the Beretta

-- A speed loader for the Glock -- which allows someone to load the gun quicker

Oksana claims Mel waived a gun and threatened her life during their January 6 blowout.  Mel denied doing any such thing.

The word found in most states under definition of domestic violence is the word imminent. ..Imminent danger, meaning something is likely to occur at any moment. How could Oksana have been in "imminent" danger FIVE MONTHS after an alleged incident took place? Ill, CA and LA laws all define bodily threat or harm in DV as "imminent". I just don't see how Oksana was able to walk into a court room June 25th and claim an incident took place five months prior. But as TMZ put it; "In these cases, when somebody cries wolf, the judge is mandated to assume there’s a wolf, until a full hearing can be held,” a source told TMZ." So, you cry wolf and it takes almost another five months, and there is still no full hearing to determine if she was crying wolf? Almost one year from the date of the alleged incident, Five months since it was reported, and there is still no determination it ever occurred?
There has always been a stink to this whole situation, but at this point I am scared. This is America, if someone can cry wolf, and systematically decimate your entire life, family and career and the courts allow this, then we are no longer a free, democratic nation. We are hostages to our broken court and legal system. Think about it, under most definitions of Domestic Violence it is NOT considered Domestic Violence to yell, scream, curse, spit while screaming, or even push someone away from you, even if the whole world hears you. You may be a mean bully, but it's not against the law, unless "imminent" physical danger or bodily harm is indicated. When Oksana walked into that court on June 25, months after the incident, and two months after the break up, one months after she signed a financial/custody/support agreement, you cannot tell me that woman was in imminent danger!

I don't know why Oksana keeps trying to modify visitation to eliminate overnights. If, after all the information the Judge has, he still hasn't taken away Mel's visitation rights, he NEVER will. It's a moot point. The only reason for Oksana to continue with this crappola is because she has lawyers blowing smoke up her panties, telling her she can still hurt Mel - so that they can still collect money from the Gibson lawyers trust.

So I guess according to the Judge Gordon, every guy in LA better watch
out if he gets into a swearing phone fight with his girlfriend.

She'll tape him illegally and no consequences.
She'll broadcast his whole life and slander him. No consequences.
He'll be treated like a criminal, all because you wouldn't give her the cash
she demanded from you. Her extortion = no consequences.

Welcome to the real LA Law. Nice going Judge Gordon.

I hope somebody has lent him one of their guns to protect himself while his are impounded by the court.

Well if someone lends him a gun and they're family i hope they filled out a CA "Report of Operation of Law or Intra-Familial Handgun Transaction" form and filed it with the DOJ within 30 days, or if they're not family then i hope they completed the transfer through a licensed CA firearms dealer as required by law. I also hope Mel has better sense then you do. Like simply relying on his longtime bodyguard for protection instead of violating the restraining order by posessing firearms. That would be pretty stupid of him.

"(b) Upon the issuance of a protective order pursuant to
subdivision (a), the court shall order the person to relinquish any firearm in that person's immediate possession or control, or subject to that person's immediate possession or control, within 24 hours of being served with the order, either by surrendering the firearm to the control of local law enforcement officials, or by selling the firearm to a licensed gun dealer, as specified in Section 12071 of the Penal Code. A person ordered to relinquish any firearm pursuant to this subdivision shall file with the court a receipt showing the firearm was surrendered to the local law enforcement agency or sold to a licensed gun dealer within 48 hours after receiving the order. In the event that it is necessary to continue the date of any hearing due to a request for a relinquishment order pursuant to this section, the court shall ensure that all applicable protective orders described in Section 6218 of the Family Code remain in effect or bifurcate the issues and grant the permanent restraining order pending the date of the hearing.

(d) The restraining order requiring a person to relinquish a
firearm pursuant to subdivision (b) shall state on its face that the respondent is prohibited from owning, possessing, purchasing, or receiving a firearm while the protective order is in effect and that the firearm shall be relinquished to the local law enforcement agency for that jurisdiction or sold to a licensed gun dealer, and that proof of surrender or sale shall be filed with the court within a specified period of receipt of the order. The order shall also state on its face the expiration date for relinquishment. Nothing in this section shall limit a respondent's right under existing law to petition the court at a later date for modification of the order.

(e) The restraining order requiring a person to relinquish a
firearm pursuant to subdivision (b) shall prohibit the person from possessing or controlling any firearm for the duration of the order."

I'm a le po po

Speed loaders suck. They don't really help you load the gun faster unless you have fat fingers. I can load a 15 round .40 clip from box to clip in under 20 seconds, with my fingers. Speed loaders take me twice as long because they are dopy.

There you are, falling star
Bringing us together
Tearing us apart
Carry on, broken hearts
Nothing lasts forever
Here we are.

Yeah, we were young and feeling high
Yeah, living like we're bulletproof
And feeling like we're never gonna die.

Why would he need so many guns?
My dad served in combat as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army Special Forces (paratrooper) and he has always kept ONE gun in his bedside table drawer, in case of a home invasion, and he brings it with him on car trips. One gun is really all you need (if you want to own a gun in the first place). I think Mel Gibson is a paranoid, mentally unwell person. I have nothing nice to say about his ex-girlfriend, but he is still unwell.
