Generally, I find jokes about natural disasters tasteless, but I do believe that comedians have the right to make jokes about them after some time passes. That being said, since Gottfried was the voice for the duck of an INSURANCE COMPANY, a business that deals with disasters for profit, I believe it was in Aflac's best interest to fire him.

Ashole. Everyone says "Oh it's just a joke. Take it as a joke." How would you like it if someone you love was suffering and I was making jokes about that. People are stupid. Yeah! Some people are sensitive. That's a good thing not a bad thing.

It is a sick kind of funny. It has been around forever and just the kind of thing you think and smack yourself and never say. Or say only to your family, well Gilbert says it to everyone. It is horrible and yet pretty much some kind of thing almost everyone does yet may not admit.

Anyone who thinks these "jokes" are funny have to be absolute imbeciles. Thousands of people have died, many have lost parents, schools, businesses and homes are completely destroyed. Anything humorous there is completely beyond me.
