Kelly Clarkson

Best Buy Fixed My

Orphan Problem

3/17/2011 6:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Kelly Clarkson waged war on Best Buy this week -- after one store refused to sell her iPods for her orphan charity drive -- but, fortunately, this story has a happy ending.

Kelly wrote a diatribe on her Facebook page on Tuesday -- claiming Best Buy at the Ridgemar Mall in Fort Worth, TX refused to sell her iPod shuffles ... citing a store policy which limits how many iPods they can sell to a customer.

But according to sources at Best Buy, no such policy exists ... and corporate is PISSED -- in fact, a BB rep even left an apology on Clarkson's Facebook, explaining, "We spoke to the management [at Ridgemar] and they'd like to apologize for this experience ... their intention was not to upset you."

But that's not all Best Buy did -- after Kelly was allowed to buy the iPods she wanted at a nearby location ... BB corporate donated a bunch to her charity. Hooray!

I like Best Buy for their reasonable prices, but shame on them for their behavior. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? Especially when said customer is Kelly Clarkson trying to help orphaned children!!! I love Kelly Clarkson - heart of gold!

Best Buy SUCKS!

I'll never buy a laptop from them again! their customer service sucks. Not to mention, they want to charge you $120 to "clean" a new laptop you purchase through them. There's nothing to clean that can't be done at home. They claim 80% of the memory is filled with advertising that needs to be removed... that's not true. the one or two ads that there are... can be removed by going to my computer remove/uninstall programs and deleting the articles in question.

I bought two laptops at the same time (one for me, one as a gift for my brother on his b-day) both were nothing but problems from day 1 and we got nothing but rudeness and the run around. finally the laptops fell apart. Bought my next one from walmart and haven't had issues since!

Um....it takes money and a computer to put music on an ipod. Orphans might have a slight problem there. I'm just saying....
