CA to Kelly O: You Owe $30k & Cha-Cha-Change

Love her voice, absolutely brilliant. Would have been wonderful to hear her in that last one, Gnomeo and Juliet. If not that one then something like that. Anyway she has a great voice seems a shame to miss out on such talent, can't help but smile when I hear her talk.

California is so broke they've starting going through everyone's tax return trying to drum up some cash to stay afloat...what happened to all that LOTTO money we were supposed to be awash in?

Why is this a story? I'm pretty sure the Osbourne family has an accountant that did Kelly's taxes. Do you really think a family with as much money would care about $30,000? Dumb.

Why don't the people who pay celebs take out taxes like every other company in this country? Makes no sense.

My hubby is a business consultant. He has to pay taxes this last year in 12 states, not including the state we live in. If her tax people did not explain that you have to pay taxes in each state she works in, then she needs new tax people. Cal., owes us money back, but will never sends it, as they have no money to send. They need to stop being a nanny state!!!

wait, what?? so the gov shovels billions in taxes back out to the wide public via yearly so called 'tax return season' but then has to open the beggar palm behind their backs to chase down a couple of celebrities for a couple of thou $$ in taxes?? looks like a few gov workers want to make sure their own pahkets stay full...i.e. they are collecting celeb taxes to keep their own jobs! these folks are just krazy. pyramid scam aka taxes.

I was thinking what Gail was, she's not even a citizen in the US, so why would she have to pay taxes (excluding sales) here? Do you fill out a W2 for Dancing with the Stars?
