Lindsay Lohan

I'm Being STALKED!!!

5/16/2011 5:15 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Lindsay Lohan claims she has footage and text messages proving she's being stalked by a person who has been "threatening to kill" her  ... and she's now going to the cops for help.

0516-lindsay-stalker-exd-2
Lilo went on Twitter today and posted a photo of the man allegedly posing the threat -- saying, "This is the freemason stalker that has been threatening to kill me- while he is TRESPASSING! I'm actually scared now."

She continued, "all my fans, my supporters, please stand by me. g-d bless xxL."

We're told LiLo believes the man has been obsessed with her for nearly 4 years ... frequently dropping by her home and leaving weird gifts for the actress.  We're also told he's been sending her "insane" text messages for the past few years.

Sources tell us Lindsay does not know the identity of the alleged stalker -- but she wants the cops to help keep the mystery man away ASAP.

@Rogue Hi there. What's up over here? Poor Lilo keeps getting targeted by freaks, what's the deal with that? She must be a good person at heart judging by all the flack she gets.

Red Cloud on p. 73: "@jwoolman, Do you really think she planned it and will do it again?!?!???"

Yes and yes. Unless she actually gets to the root of the problem (which I suspect is her generalized anger) or decides it's too risky even for her.

It's a common pattern for shoplifters like Lindsay, who have the money for the goods but do it for the thrill. She certainly has repeated other behaviors that got her into trouble before - why not this? A normal person would assume it was too high risk now, but Lindsay is such a risk-taker - that might just add to the thrill.

It's definitely in the same category of behaviors as drug addiction. Nothing rational about it. Rationally, Lindsay wouldn't do such a thing - she doesn't need the goods, she could buy them if she wanted, and the cost of getting caught is obviously enormous especially in her position. But she's not thinking rationally when she does this as well as other things. The urge to steal is like the urge to drink or use other drugs. Those of us who don't have that urge can't understand very well why anybody would be so dumb when the consequences are so high. That's why you're having trouble believing it.

This is why the judge before the current judge wanted to make counseling mandatory. He could tell just from the nature of the crime that she was driven by deep issues to do such stupid things - I'm sure he and other judges have seen it many times before. And they know the odds are great for repeats, even after a jail sentence for shoplifting.

She's probably a casual planner for such thefts, waiting for opportunities and having escape hatches, so to speak (playing the ditz is one of them, having a ton of money in her purse is another one - and commonly used among chronic shoplifters). But from watching that video, I would definitely say she planned to try to walk out of that store with the necklace on. She didn't know if she would get away with it until she did... She was quite aware of the necklace on her neck, notice how she touches it frequently. It was not an innocent mistake, and her behavior over the following week confirms that. Many shoplifters do walk out of the store with the goods in plain sight, it's part of the game (and also part of the escape plan, for the oops excuse).

Don't have time for a full response but I absolutely do not believe she's a casual planner of thefts. If she is delusional enough to believe she could get away with such a thing, she's delusional enough for innocent, scatterbrained behavior. She would have to be far more delusional to believe she could steal without getting nabbed. It's my opinion. Like I said before, your opinions are based on unconfirmed information.

Rogue, sorry I misspelled you.

Sick of Lindsay

Has anyone else noticed that her stalker pic has disappeared off of her twitter and that also on X17 online all the party pics are missing and nothing has been said about the stalker except the police have no report of it from her or her camp. But where did the party pics go? Anyone know.

Question: during house arrest, does the detainee have to wear a SCRAM also? Or have regular alcohol and drug tests done? I was just curious, as it seems to me the luxury (because it is one) of having house arrest and not jail doesn't mean someone doesn't have certain ground rules set.

Do visitors have to be approved?

nicole you were missed yesterday.

OK I watched that press release where the spokesmen talked about house arrest. he did not say it was a sealed deal.

He said they have to look at it and go over her past.

and he is not the one that decides. it is very possible. but not confirmed.
and if she goes on house arrest it is still beyond me how she can get early release. and time off for good behavior. some thing tells me she will be on house arrest longer then Nicole thinks.

Damn she has a big rap sheet now

--------------
No it will be 2 weeks as the sheriff spokesperson explained that house arrest is just like serving a jail sentence with overcrowding applied as you are technically still in the sheriff's custody.
House arrest isn't 100% confirmed but she is a non violent misdemeanor offender and when people are getting the same amount of credit for house arrest then you know there is major issues. Lindsay already applied for it at least over a week ago so it could be confirmed soon.

The liar is a person who uses the valid designations, the words, in order to make something which is unreal appear to be real. He says, for example, "I am rich," when the proper designation for his condition would be "poor." He misuses fixed conventions by means of arbitrary substitutions or even reversals of names. If he does this in a selfish and moreover harmful manner, society will cease to trust him and will thereby exclude him. What men avoid by excluding the liar is not so much being defrauded as it is being harmed by means of fraud. Thus, even at this stage, what they hate is basically not deception
itself, but rather the unpleasant, hated consequences of certain sorts of deception.

It is in a similarly restricted sense that man now wants nothing but truth: he desires the pleasant, life-preserving consequences of truth. He is indifferent toward pure knowledge which has no consequences; toward those truths which are possibly harmful and destructive he is even hostilely inclined.

The various languages placed side by side show that with words it is never a question of truth, never a question of adequate expression. The "thing in itself" (which is precisely what the pure truth, apart from any of its consequences, would be) is likewise something quite incomprehensible to the creator of language and something not in the least worth striving for. This creator only designates the relations of things to men, and for expressing these relations he lays hold of the boldest metaphors.
To begin with, a nerve stimulus is transferred into an image: first metaphor. The image, in turn, is imitated in a sound: second metaphor. And each time there is a complete overlapping of one sphere, right into the middle of an entirely new and different one.

We believe that we know something about the things themselves when we speak of trees, colors, snow, and flowers; and yet we possess nothing but metaphors for things — metaphors which correspond in no way to the original entities.

Every word instantly becomes a concept precisely insofar as it is not supposed to serve as a reminder of the unique and entirely individual original experience to which it owes its origin; but rather, a word becomes a concept insofar as it simultaneously has to fit countless more or less similar cases — which means, purely and simply, cases which are never equal and thus altogether unequal. Every concept arises from the equation of unequal things. Just as it is certain that one leaf is never totally the same as another, so it is certain that the concept "leaf" is formed by arbitrarily discarding these individual differences and by forgetting the distinguishing aspects.

We obtain the concept, as we do the form, by overlooking what is individual and actual; whereas nature is acquainted with no forms and no concepts, and likewise with no species, but only with an X which remains inaccessible and undefinable for us.

*What then is truth?
A movable host of metaphors, in short, a sum of human relations which have been poetically and rhetorically intensified, transferred, and embellished, and which, after long usage, seem to a people to be fixed, canonical, and binding. Truths are illusions which we have forgotten are illusions — they are metaphors that have become worn out and have been drained of sensuous force, coins which have lost their embossing and are now considered as metal and no longer as coins.

* We still do not yet know where the drive for truth comes from. For so far we have heard only of the duty which society imposes in order to exist: to be truthful means to employ the usual metaphors. Thus, to express it morally, this is the duty to lie according to a fixed convention, to lie with the herd and in a manner binding upon everyone. Now man of course forgets that this is the way things stand for him. Thus he lies in the manner indicated, unconsciously and in accordance with habits which are centuries' old; and precisely by means of this unconsciousness and forgetfulness he arrives at his sense of truth.

The venerability, reliability, and utility of truth is something which a person demonstrates for himself from the contrast with the liar, whom no one trusts and everyone excludes. As a "rational" being, he now places his behavior under the control of abstractions. He will no longer tolerate being carried away by sudden impressions, by intuitions.

It is only by means of forgetfulness that man can ever reach the point of fancying himself to possess a "truth" of the grade just indicated. If he will not be satisfied with truth in the form of tautology, that is to say, if he will not be content with empty husks, then he will always exchange truths for illusions.......

I don't know, but I think the purpose of House Arrest or Home Confinement is to keep the confinee away from the public. Like they would be if they were in jail. For most people, that means that they are usually not free to go to the movies, stores for shopping, and work. It's meant to be as restrictive as possible.

But I don't know if they can prevent other people from coming to visit. I think they can state that during certain hours you have to not have visitors, but how are they going to check????
Besides, even if LL signed something saying she would not have visitors, I don't think that would mean anything to her.

Red Cloud on p. 74: " I absolutely do not believe she's a casual planner of thefts. If she is delusional enough to believe she could get away with such a thing, she's delusional enough for innocent, scatterbrained behavior. She would have to be far more delusional to believe she could steal without getting nabbed. "

You need to do more reading about shoplifters. The vast majority are not delusional. They are thrill-seekers. It's like a drug. People take big risks of all sorts every day, for good and bad reasons, and sometimes end up crippled or dead for it. Why do people bungie jump? They could die! Are they delusional?

Just because you or I would never take such risks (well, the shoplifting risk - dunno how you feel about bungie jumping) doesn't mean that Lindsay wouldn't. This is the same girl who drank enough to get buzzed while wearing a SCRAM, did coke while she was being randomly tested, thought she could convince a judge that the dog ate her passport, missed a plane to a 6-figure easy gig because she just had to shop til she dropped at the airport, etc. She routinely takes big risks despite big consequences. Sometimes she wins, sometimes she loses.

Lindsay is not a ditz, she just plays one on TMZ. And her behavior after walking out with the necklace was simply not "innocent" in the slightest. She knew she had taken the necklace and she knew the store had not given it to her or loaned it to her. The pictures taken a few days later and her behavior after that are confirmation. Her One Hundred Thirty Five Thousand Dollar Lawyer couldn't find any way to defend her actions.

Maybe you and Nicole think that if you admit she is a thief, then you are admitting she is a terrible person. But that's not so - you can continue to believe that she's a sweet girl and destined for greatness but admit that she is a shoplifter, just as for any drug addict or alcoholic. There are plenty of habitual shoplifters who are otherwise nice people. I personally think any sweet girl is buried pretty deep by now after several years on the self-destruct trail, but you are free to believe otherwise. And who knows? Maybe if she really does successfully battle her demons (including the shoplifting demon, it's on the same team with her drug and alcohol demons), that sweet girl you see will emerge again. But right now - she needs people to confront her about her behavior, not make excuses for it.
