'Father of the Bride' House FOR SALE -- Got $1.35 MIL?

6/18/2011 2:00 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

The "Father of the Bride" house -- where the iconic movie was shot 20 years ago -- is officially on the market ... and it could all be yours ... for a cool $1.35 MILLION.

The house is located in the Los Angeles County suburb of Alhambra -- and boasts 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 3 fireplaces, a solarium, a BASEMENT ... and a three-car garage.

And if the 4,397 sq. ft. house wasn't enough -- it sits on a 17,481 sq. ft. lot ... which includes the backyard arbor built specifically for the film.

The only things not included in the sale: a hilarious foreign wedding planner and years of marital bliss.

Not worth the price!! Needs a pool and the kitchen is a disaster!!

Who cares about the house, when you've got the wrong movie. The original "Father of the Bride" was made in 1950. That would be the "iconic" movie. The other one is just a remake.

The real one is in Pasadena!

Yea this isn't the house... maybe some shots were used but the inside definitely was not... the entrance foyer is incorrect, the stairs were on the opposite wall w/ a cathedral ceiling. There also isn't a balcony over the front door.

Ooops - fact check, this is not The Father of The Bride house. The correct one is in Pasadena.

en Todo Momento!!

oh, i totally know that house. and tmz forgot to mention that it is right next to one of the busiest and loudest streets in the area. 10 ton trucks are like poltering by every few minutes. and they forgot to mention the biker gang that revs up their harleys every saturday evening. good nitey nite!!

Yeah....not so much. It's a pretty quiet neighborhood and there are certainly no Harley gangs here.

Apparently those of you that continue to say it's "not the house" have no idea how locations on film sets work and you can actually have multiple locations to be edited into one ovation. It's the magic of post production.

The reason the house is so "cheap" is a) it was just drastically reduced in price and b) it desperately is in need of a remodel.

Correct. This is not the house. I live five houses down from this one. This house was featured in "Guess Who" with Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher.

en Todo Momento is full of sh*t. No gangs and definitely not off one of the busiest streets in the area. Biker gangs? no.

This is NOT the Father of the Bride house. It's a cheesy knockoff! TMZ, I'm disappointed in your lack of due diligence. As other people have posted, the FOTB home is on El Molino in Pasadena between Glenarm and California Blvd. The Draper family home from Mad Men is a block away on the same street.

This is not the house. The outside front of the house was on El Molino street in Pasadena, near San Marino. The backyard was a house in Alhambra. This is a look a like house. Thank you TMZ for incorrect information-- again. I watched this movie for years with my mom,and have family in the industry...this house is not it.

Mr. Conkle

You guys are mistaken!
The father of the Bride house is in Pasadena on El Molino Ave. LOL!!! Everyone knows that except TMZ??? I'm a local of Pasadena!! I know this!

in this economy that's not a 1.3 house. plain yard and plain all over. go to texas and build yourself a mansion with 1.3

This isn't the father of the bride house. The real house has three windows in the attic and doesn't have pillars in the front. the landscaping is wrong and on the left side of the house it was a full addition not a downstairs addition.

wrong house, idiots. The one in the movie is in Pasadena, not alhambra.
