Coroner: Ryan Dunn Died Violent Death

6/21/2011 10:40 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

"Jackass" star Ryan Dunn and his passenger each died as result of both blunt force trauma AND the fire that consumed Dunn's Porsche during the crash Monday morning ... this according to the Chester County Coroner.

Ryan Dunn Cause of Death

The Coroner's Office just released the autopsy results for both men -- who, we're told, were each dead by the time officials arrived at the scene.

Based on the autopsy results, the crash was so violent, it seems it was impossible to determine if the two died from the impact of the crash itself or from the fire that resulted.

Officials say the toxicology results for both men -- which would help determine the role alcohol played in the crash -- will be released in 4 to 6 weeks.

TMZ previously reported, officials believe Dunn's car veered off the highway and crashed in a wooded area Monday morning ... before exploding in flames. Investigators believe speed may have been a factor in the crash.

Granted

I can't believe some of you are blaming the bartender. How about people taking responsibility for themselves when they drink? The bartender has a million things he's got to worry about - IT'S UP TO US AND OUR FRIENDS to police our drinking.

Those of us who have lost a family member to a drunk driver say:

"F#CK HIM!!"

"F#ck jackass, f#ck feeling sorry for this "nobody" whose entire contribution to society was shaving his balls on camera. Lived like an idiot, died like an idiot."

A notably inane headline: "Ryan Dunn Died Violent Death". It was widely known that he crashed into a some trees traveling at over 100mph, and, that the car exploded and burned. That's like reporting - as news - that people who are shot in the head, at close range, will often find themselves in pain and be cranky for a period of time - or, possibly, just be dead. What an odd report.

The guy's an *******: he murdered his passenger. How many of us have been in a car with a drunk jerk at the wheel who insists on driving at breakneck speeds? Too many. Enough to know its a really scary feeling.
We all know drunk-drivers kill innocents in their speed-adventures: the world is better off without this jackass...

Blame the Bartender-nahhh why not blame the court system that let someone with 23 reckless -drunk driving convictions drive- If ever there was someone that needed th a car clubed or a bac machine - this is it...The Fat Drunk Murdered that man. Had this doosh lived - number 25 might have been a member of your family. 23 -priors at 34 years of age shows the jerk did not have the IQ - or socail skill to function as an adult. 12 steps might have been better than 12 feet under or cooked in a car. Rodger That ! The pity party for Well dunn is lame- Blubbering Bam can't even man up enough to say anything about the person their drunk-tard friend killed.

You don't have to be falling down drunk to be too drunk to drive. I work at a hospital where I have to draw the blood alcohol levels of people the police charge with a DUI. Bartenders don't pay that much attention to who drinks and drives. I've seen some pretty drunk people brought in after being at a bar. Also, you can't tell if someone is over the legal limit just by the way they act. This guy's death was most likely the cause of a combination of speed and too much alcohol. It's not the first time he's driven drunk. Fortunately he didn't crash into another car.

Some may argue (with merit) that Dunn was not bright enough to discern that after becoming drunk, he was risking his, his passenger's and the life/lives of anyone, who he may encounter on the road. Others may argue that Dunn led an extreme life, and therefore, Dunn died an extreme death.

I consider those I have known who bravely fought illness, and suffered greatly to live just another day, and I remember those I had the honor of knowing, who died in brave service of the USA, versus those, like Dunn, who not only threw their own lives away by driving drunk, but also were responsible for anothers' loss of life. While I pity those who loved Dunn. and I pity his passenger and his beloved, I cannot honestly say that I pity Dunn himself. His calling a cab would have made a world of difference. Two more people would have been alive today and a number more would not be grieving their senseless deaths.

Who actually said that him driving drunk was the cause of this crash? Yes he was over the legal limit but at 140mph it doesn't matter if your reaction time is impaired or not, bad things are going to happen.
