RIP Mrs Ford Because of your battles and recovery center millions are helped with their addictions in your name.....

then there's the alkies and druggies seen on this site's pages in Hollywood who use it as a place to hide from the media and their fans when they screw up mocking the people who really go there to sober up and change their lives, not just to get their fans and jobs back (Charlie Sheen and dozens of others)

Betty Ford was truly a pioneer. She outed herself as a breast cancer patient (gasp!) AND as a drug addict, WAY before anyone EVER did anything like that. She was a class act who truly helped a LOT of people.

Dance on, Beautiful Lady.

Anyone who can raise 5 kids AND be a politcal wife deserves respect and she got...earned... it. Tell the truth, love your bumbling spouse, inspire others.
Plus, she was a beauty in her day. RIP Betty.

That is only 11 years older than my dad, 20 years older than my mom; and I'm only 36! God bless her family!

That's quite a list of celebrities. Wouldn't it be shorter to list the names who don't have an addiction?

What a great American this woman was. Open about her issues so she could help others. Right on, Mrs. Ford. Your family is surely so proud of the way you led your life. I sure am, and grateful for your strength and grace. The new extreme, greedy and elitist republicans should honor her example and strive to live it.
